at the end. Newspapers will have a masthead,
the most important news on the front page and
sports news on the back page.
   Example of Story Convention
Story conventions are common narrative structures and
understandings that are common in story telling media
products. Examples of story conventions include:
Narrative structures. Cause and effect. Character
  construction.
What are the conventions of the short story?
They are true masters at combining the five key elements
that go into every great short story: character, setting,
    conflict, plot and theme.
   Example of Genre Convention
 What are the genre conventions?
You will do this by considering its main features, known as
genre conventions. These conventions include themes, setting,
characters, plotlines, narrative structure, mood, props or
  significant objects.
Horror uses unique and unusual angles to create confusion
and unsettling feel with the viewer. The lighting tends to be
dark, underexposed with lots of shadows, making the audience
feel tense and on edge. Furthermore, the use of sound, such as a
high pitch key, creates a sense of alarm with the audience
