Implementation Procedure
1. Every Araling Panlipunan and Social Science Teacher shall
have a list of all AP/SocSci learners
2. Use the results of the Phil IRI Pre-Test as baseline data:
a) For Aral Pan 1-2….Data are already available just
coordinate with the teachers on Early Grade Reading
Assessment (EGRA).
b) For Aral Pan 3-7….Data are already available just
coordinate with your Filipino Coordinator

c) For Aral Pan 8-10… Use the Phil IRI Tool and Reading Text of
Grade 7 since it is already validated . Then, the learners who
got below 14 scores who are considered the priorities of your
reading interventions.
d) For Social Sciences (Grades 11 and 12) …utilize the Phil
IRI/FLAT Pre-Test results as baseline data. Then, coordinate
with your English/Reading Coordinator as regards the baseline
data and have a list of all learners with the identified priority
beneficiaries of your reading interventions.

3. The Reading Intervention/Reading Session shall be


done once a week.
4. Aral Pan/Soc Sci Teachers shall prepare reading
materials related to the subject matter and/or she/he
shall make her/his own reading material like puzzle,
board games, and the like.

5. Every quarter, all Aral Pan and/SocSci teachers are


requested to make initial assessment using the tool
based on Baseline data.
6. District Aral Pan/SocSci Coordinators shall transmit
the data to the Division Grade Level Leaders for
Consolidation and to form part the Quarterly Report of
the Division and Region.
