1. use quality
ingredients
2. Use plenty of ice
for mixing.
3. Always measure the
ingredients so as not to spoil
any drink to ensure
consistency inequality and
cost.
4. Some drinks are shaken with
ice better dilution or may be
dissolved with sugar and other
heavy ingredients.
5. Chill all glasses
for chilled drinks.
Heat glass for hot
drinks.
6. The simple syrup must
be prepared in advance to
get a container and fill it
with sugar.

glass, rub it with a slice of
lemon and deep it in salt or
sugar as indicated in the recipe.
8. Always use the
right glasses for
every drink.
9. Lemon and orange peel
should be twisted over the
drink only after the drink
is finished.
10. If a recipe calls for an egg
place the egg white or the egg first
before the spirits so as not to spoil
the drink if the egg happens to be
rotten.
11. Mixing a drink should
be done in a large glass a
jug or cocktail shaker.
12. Clear mixtures should
be stirred.
13. When a recipe talks a
dash – this means just a few
spots to talk about a
teaspoon.
14. Prepare fruit juices
before use.
15. Add sparkling liquids
last.
16. Do not skimp on ice.

cocktails, fill glasses with
cracked ice to cool them.
