Media Literacy

Technology literacy refers to the ability to use technology tools to access, manage, integrate, evaluate, create and communicate information. Media literacy is the ability to access, analyze, evaluate, and create various media forms and aims to empower citizens with knowledge and skills to engage with traditional and new media. Information literacy is the ability to recognize when information is needed, locate, evaluate, and communicate information in its various formats.

2. Understand and value the concept of Media and Information
Literacy as a whole.

Media Literacy

The ability to access, analyze, evaluate, and create media


in a variety of forms. It aims to empower citizens by
providing them with the competencies (knowledge and
skills) necessary to engage with traditional media and new
technologies.

Make an Infographics promoting a healthy social media platform.
Example:
Technology (Digital) Literacy
The ability of an individual, either working independently or
with others, to responsibly, appropriately, and effectively use

information.
