Our Business

- The business is of regional merchandise based in Delhi -


The company will be named DELHIHOOD .
- The goods will include T–shirts, jackets, hoodies, mugs,
accessories, posters etc.
- Through this we aim to:
 provide quality products to everyone at an affordable
price
 Shape our business as a community of likeminded people
with a regional essence
Our Business

- The project will include a Club , a Restaurant , an Arcade


zone , a Theatre , a Bar and a Rooftop pool.
- There will be one floor allotted to each aspect of the project
having a different theme.
- The venture will initially begin as a community in Delhi
and will have the scope to expand outside (in other major
cities) upon its success.
CAPITAL
• The project is very capital intensive so we will need a bunch of good investors to support
it.
• We’ll also need Strategic partnership with builder groups who will help with the
infrastructure part of the business.
• Initially the land will be leased and would be bought once the business generates enough
revenue.
• The type of investors that we’ll look for will be young entrepreneurs interested in
expanding their portfolio.
• The fixed capital will include the real estate, equipment etc. and the variable cost will
include salaries, supplies, maintenance etc.
TIME
• A minimum of 1 year of R&D and funding extraction will be
required to initiate the project.
• For the merchandising part, it will take 2-3 months for setting up
the initial inventory and logistics.
• For the infrastructure part, it could take as long as 1-2 years to
get completely finished.
• To get established in terms of footfall of customers and revenue,
an estimated time of 6 months will be needed.
LOCATION
• Since this is a regional merchandise business based on the idea of being a
delhiite, we will cover different areas of delhi as the prime locations in the
initial phase of our business.
• The prospects would include places like Chankyapuri, Rajouri Garden, Punjabi
Bagh, Cannaught Place etc.
• For merchandising, a hybrid mode of distribution will be applied. The good
would be sold both through the online website and stores. These platforms will
be exclusive.
FUTURE SCOPE

• Our first goal after establishing a location will be to further franchise our business
in other parts of Delhi NCR.
• After its success in Delhi, we will expand our business outside the city.
• We will firslty target metro cities outside delhi like mumbai, bangalore, kolkata
etc.
• As our business grows in different metro cities of India, we will gradually try to
cover the whole of the country by tapping in into Tier 2 and 3 cities with a similar
concept.
CHANCES OF FAILURE
• Since the business is very capital instensive and is majorly dependent on investment
and partenership deals, there is a chance of failure in the initail stage only if we
don’t get the right deals.
• For our business, we will need a huge piece of land (like 4- 5 acres). Finding such a
land at our interesed location will be a very difficult task.
• Outside delhi, we may not be able to cover every city because delhi’s crowd is
limited to teir 1 cities (that too for a short term duration). Even in teir 2 cities, the
numbers of this crowd falls sharply. So outside metro cities, it will be difficult to
sustain.
