Lecture and Discussion

This document discusses two common teaching methods: the lecture method and discussion method. The lecture method involves the teacher presenting information to a large group of students in an organized way. It allows for covering a large amount of content efficiently but keeps students passive. The discussion method is more student-centered and interactive, allowing students to have a conversation around a topic. Both methods have advantages and disadvantages depending on the learning objectives. Preparation and incorporating interactivity are important for making lectures more effective.
