This study is being done to know the supply chain management which is adopted in Himalaya and Dabur
Industry. To know how these company have efficiently adopted supply chain management in their Firms.

1) the main objective of supply chain management are to reduce cost in production.
2) To improve the overall organization performance and by improving product or service delivery to the
consumer.
3) Supply chain management is to achieve cost quality balance and optimization.
4) To achieve more awareness on supply chain dynamics and efficiency.

Scope of study
This study confirmed to know about supply chain management in two difference industries
with reference to Himalaya and Dabur.
Limitation of study
1) Secondary data may be biased, because recent updates may not be available.
2) There is no easy way to collate the current information.
3) It does not compare other product with Himalaya and Dabur.
4) Deep study on the subject is not possible due to the constraints of time.

Retailer.
4) Himalaya drug company scored higher in 3 areas; Work- life balance , Culture & Values.
5) Dabur India Company scored in 6 areas; Overall rating , Career Opportunities, Compensation & Benefits,
Senior Management, CEO Approval and Positive business outlook.
6) In Himalaya company Has taken Supply chain management more responsibility in their Product /Service to
reach customer.
7) Himalaya company give more margin to their distubuter and Customer on MRP then Dabur company.
8) Himalaya Company having more shops then Dabur Company.

FINDINGS

1) Himalaya is having more percentage of profit on their product.


2) Dabur is having decreasing trend in the profit when compare to Himalaya.

5) By studying in the supply chain management concept in both companies we can have better understanding
on quality control in both companies.

SUGGESTION AND RECOMMENDATIONS

1) Suggested to company concentrate more on product division strategy.


2) Himalaya Company should undertake massive rebranding excesses.
3) By doing rebranding excesses Himalaya company can enter international market.
4) The product trail system must be improved in Himalaya.
5) Health care as be identified as on important growth engine for future in dabur company.
6) The rural distribution channels has to be reach aggressively.
7) The sales strategy must be reorganization to get proper process on different product in Dabur company
8) The company has developed varies cost detection and energy saving invitees resulting in sharp drop in
manufacturing cost.
9) Dabur company is having connected to consumer so high degree of customer insult must be considered in
development of each product.
10) In the present competitor market, Dabur Company should increase the advertisement and promotion
spends.

CONCLUSION

Supply chain management is an important part for every organization as it improves the effectiveness,
efficiency, Management of resources, etc. it also establish good and prominent relations with the stakeholders
like Suppliers, Customers.

From the above study the information made on both the companies, Himalaya and Dabur company it is seen
that Himalaya Company is having a good supply chain management, Hierarchy from manufacturing to
customer its easy to reach their product. Himalaya have more shops its also good for their sales and increase
their profit.
