EXISTING SYSTEM
We have observed an existing system named as DESIGNA Smart Move.
Above mentioned is a real time application which provides services.
Also, in the manual system there is no particular information provided by the management of
parking slots whether the slot is available or not.
If we have to find a parking slot it is very difficult because we have to check out each and every
slot which is very time consuming.
Manual system is a very old approach and less efficient.
Because of the non structure parking system, sometimes parking area slots are not easily
available because people park vehicles at random places.
Proposed System
So here in this system we are going to make a project on parking management in which a user
can easily navigate himself to the free parking space .
We provide a sensor card from which the user can be a part of our system. Users need to scan
the card and get details about the number of free and vacant parking slots.
To make user work easy there are green and red signals which show users whether the space is
free .
Another benefit of the card is that when the driver scans their card the system automatically
gets the information about the car owner, arrival time and departure of the scan card for that
car.

ANDROID STUDIO: Android Studio provides the fastest tools for building apps on every type
of Android device. Android runs on devices of all shapes and sizes. Android Studio is available
for download on Windows, macOS and Linux based operating systems or as a subscription-
based service in 2020.
POSTMAN: Postman is the world’s leading collaboration platform for API development. It is
an API platform for building and using APIs. Postman simplifies each step of the API lifecycle
and streamlines collaboration so you can create better APIs—faster.
NOTEPAD++: Notepad++ is a free source code editor and Notepad replacement that supports
several languages. Running in the MS Windows environment, its use is governed by
GNU General Public License.
DRAW.IO: Draw.io is free online diagram software for making flowcharts, process diagrams,
org charts, UML, ER and network diagrams. It is an open source technology stack for building
diagramming applications, and the world’s most widely used browser-based end-user
diagramming software.
ARDUINO IDE: The open-source Arduino Software (IDE) makes it easy to write code and
upload it to the board. This software can be used with any Arduino board. It contains a text
editor for writing code, a message area, a text console, a toolbar with buttons for common
functions and a series of menus. It connects to the Arduino hardware to upload programs and
communicate with them.

FLUTTER WITH DART AND IOT SENSORS CIRCUIT: Flutter is an open-source UI
software development kit created by Google. It is used to develop cross platform applications for Android, iOS,
Linux, Mac, Windows, Google Fuchsia,[4] and the web from a single codebase. The first version of Flutter was
known as code name "Sky" and ran on the Android operating system.
BACKEND:
MYSQL DATABASE: MySQL is an open-source relational database management system(RDBMS). It is
free and open-source software under the terms of the GNU General Public License, and is also available under
a variety of proprietary licenses. MySQL was owned and sponsored by the Swedish company MySQL AB,
which was bought by Sun Microsystems (now Oracle Corporation). In 2010, when Oracle acquired Sun,
Widenius forked the open-source MySQL project to create MariaDB.

FUTURE ENHANCEMENT
- We can add payment getway to pay directly whenever any car or vehicle exits from
parking slot.
- So they can pay easily from mobile application only.
- We can add one more feature in future which shows near by free parking slot
according to your location.
- Which helps user to find slot easily and it will also save lot of time and energy .
CONCLUSION
IOT based Smart parking system is efficiency in alleviating the traffic problem that arise
especially in the city area where traffic congestion and the insufficient parking space are
undeniable. Parking vehicles is a task that takes lots of time and effort. Our SMART
PARKING SYSTEM project is planned to be integrated with another application to help users
to find the empty space through displaying slot on website with less time. Developing a Smart
Parking System within a city is help to solving half traffic issue. Our Smart Parking System
helps to solving all traffic issue that cause of parking and it takes less. It’s a Fast, Time
consuming, Effortless and systematic parking system.
