MELC : Manipulate simple machines to describe

OBJECTIVES:
   • Identify and describe the different simple
     machines.
   • Demonstrate how to use simple machines.
   • Shows proper handling in using simple
     machines and appreciate its importance.

table demonstrate on how it is
being used and tell it to the class.
 When you use simple machines to
do work, two kinds of forces are
involved; the force applied to the
machine and the force applied by the
machine to act against another force
like friction and gravity. The force
applied by the machine is called the
resistance force and the effort
applied to the machine is called
effort force.
Work with pair:
Study the pictures. Identify what
tool is it, kind of simple machine its
parts and uses.

classmate read and answer

   Never play with sharp and pointed
    objects
   Position the sharp and pointed edge
    objects downward in carrying them.
   Keep sharp and pointed tools in a
    toolbox
   Do not leave any object on stairways.

 Be sure that any tool is in good condition
  before using it
 Always keep small children away when
  using a sharp tool
 When you are through in using any tool,
  put it back in its proper place
 Don’t go near places where heavy loads
  are being lifted.
