To start editing, you need a sequence on
your project timeline

Resize if necessary
Incase the aspect ratio
of the current sequence
is not correct, you can
resize by pressing Right
Click on the clip and
press scale to scale to
frame size

RESIZING CLIPS IN TIME
To resize any clips in
time,click on the edge
of the clip and move
accordingly. This will
cut part of it’s
content. (incase it is a
video or a sound clip.)
RESIZING AND PRESERVING THE CLIPS

To preserve its Right click on


content, select RATE the clip and
STRETCH TOOL to select SPEED/
stretch and shorten DURATION
the clip by changing

CUTTING CLIPS

1. To split into
multiple pieces,
use the RAZOR
TOOL to cut the
clip.
2. To copy and paste

and CTRL + V
3. To undo, CTRL + Z

LEFT TIMELINE PANEL

Left panel:
1. Press eye icon to
shows/hide a clip
2. Press M(Mute) icon
to mute an audio clip
3. The S (Solo track)

ADJUSTING MASTER VOLUME LEVEL

On the bottom, adjust


your master volume level
if your decibel meter on
the right shows red.

Upon selecting a
track, effect controls
show all its
properties and
effects available

COLOUR GRADING: LUMETRI COLOR

On the effects window select


Lumetri Color Effects and drag
to your preferred clips.
Lumetri color properties

button to undo the
properties to the
default settings

3. Press the FX
button to hide its
properties
Transition between clips
1.Open the video
transition panel
and select any of
the desired
transition.
2.Drag and drop
to your respective

clips

up.
4.To remove the
transition, right
click on the
transition and
click clear.
TEXT TOOL
1.Select TEXT TOOL
and click on the
desired clip to be
placed upon.

tool to adjust the

Save Project
Click File – Save As – Change
File Name
(it will be save in .prpoj format)
RENDER AND EXPORT
To open the export
settings:
FILE – EXPORT - MEDIA

Render options is located


on the right side

1. Select desired format video (H.264,MPEG4,AVI etc)
2. On presets, pick any template ready to use OR MATCH
SOURCE if its your desired format.
3. Set name and destination folder on the output name.
4 4. The videos and audios setting will set automatically
according to your presets settings by default.
5. If you want to customise, uncheck any property and
change it to your desired settings like frame rate,
5 video resolution and many more.
On the source panel
1. You can crop and resize
the final video if
desired.
2. At the bottom, you can
select the part of the
video you wish to be
exported.
1. Click the EXPORT
button to start
rendering.

Note: Rendering speed


depends on the
performance of your
own laptop or cpu.
