Ubat Perlindungan Kulit
• Ubat yang digunakan untuk
melindungi kulit daripada
kekeringan, irritasi dan
dehidrasi.
Tindakan
• Mengekalkan hydrasi
permukaan kulit
• Melembutkan keruping untuk
memudahkan penanggalan
• Melegakan kulit kering dengan
melembapkan stratum corneum
melalui:
• Peresapan emollient ke dalam tisu
• Menghalang/ mengurangkan
kehilangan air daripada stratum
corneum
• Mengurangkan irritasi (kes
eczema)
• Sebagai pengganti sabun

2. Calamine lotion

Indication
• Pruritis
• Prickly Heat (small itching rashes)
Dose
• Apply to the skin as required
& allow to dry 1-3 times a
day.

• Apply to affected area as

4. Calamine with 0.25-0.5%
menthol lotion

Indication
• Total sunblock
• Photodermatitis
Dose
• Apply in thin layer (evenly)
– pada kawasan yang
memerlukan perlindungan
dari cahaya matahari.
• Apply at least 30 minutes
prior to solar exposure

(Meladinine)

• Adult: 20mg
• Peads < 6 yr: 10mg
• Peads 6-12 yr: 10-20mg
• Semua dos diberi 2 jam
sebelum terdedah kepada
cahaya matahari.
10. Trioxsalen 5mg tablet
(Trisoralen)
Category: A
Indication
• Vitiligo (leucoderma)
Dose
• 5-10mg daily 2 - 4 hours
before exposure to
sunlight.
• To increase pigmentation:
10mg/day 2 hours prior to
UV radiation.
