Steam & Water Flow in Power Plant

This diagram shows the steam and water flow circuit of a 5x660MW power plant. Steam generated in the boiler travels through high pressure turbines (HPT), intermediate pressure turbines (IPT), and low pressure turbines (LPT) before entering the condenser. Condensed water from the condenser is pumped through heaters, deaerator, and boiler feed pumps (BFP) before returning to the boiler to complete the cycle.
