Make in India

Make in India is an international campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014 to encourage global companies to manufacture their products in India. The campaign aims to make India a global manufacturing hub to boost economic growth and create jobs by urging both local and foreign companies to invest in India through new initiatives and policies supporting foreign direct investment and intellectual property. While India has advantages like natural resources and skilled labor that can benefit manufacturing, it also faces challenges like creating a healthy business environment and strong competition from China's manufacturing industry.
