• Training as was stated earlier, is imparting skills to employees.

solving work-related problems

• It seeks to improve abilities to define and structure problems to generate


alternative solutions
Education
• To teach theoretical concepts and develop a sense of reasoning and
judgement

• Every programme must contain a sense of element of education well


understood by HR specialists

• Organizations depute or encourage employees to do a course on a part-time


basis

• CEOs are known to attend refresher course conducted by business school


Development
• Training programme is development which less skills oriented but
stresses on knowledge

• Knowledge about business environment, management principles and


techniques, human relations

• It’s nothing but instilling a zest for excellence which inspires and
motivate others
Ethics
• Need for imparting greater ethical orientation to a training
• Ethics correspond to the basic human needs
• Values create creditability with the public
• It helps in better decision making which are in the interest of the
public
• Ethics practices are good even from the profitability point of view.
• It may sound weird but The Tata Story revealed by the creation of
wealth is a fine example
Attitudinal Changes
• Represents feelings and beliefs of individuals towards others

• It affect motivation , satisfaction and job commitment

• Feel committed to the organization and derive satisfaction from their


jobs and the work environment

to one counselling sessions
• Mentoring involves coaching advising and encouraging employees of
usually lesser ranks

personal development
