RAMBAL LTD……A Brief History
1955 Started as a trading unit
1957 Commenced manufacturing of precision
turned components using automatic lathes
1971 Started exports to Singapore, Malaysia and Germany.
1998 Started the second plant in Thiruporur
1998 Rambal acquired Super Shox - Hyderabad
2000 Started shock absorber manufacture in Thiruporur
2001 Started textile spindles in Thiruporur
2004 Development of Sub-systems for E-Z-GO and Lawn Mowers
2006 Transmission shafts Developed and started supply to
Jacobson Textron
2007 Started E-Z-GO FSS production and supply

Rambal Design Initiatives
Front Suspension for Golf Cars
Developed the front suspension for the new
generation car in collaboration with the Customer.
Prototypes were made for multiple concepts and
extensively tested in-house and in the field.
Design optimization, prototyping and testing on track
was done till satisfactory ride comfort was achieved.
Established production Line which meets all the
quantity and quality requirements of Customers.

3-Wheeler Load Car
Worked from project inception to develop Front and
Rear Shock Absorbers.
Optimum designs were evolved based on their load
