Emotional Intelligence Guide

Emotional intelligence involves understanding one's own and others' emotions and acting appropriately based on that understanding. It includes self-awareness of internal feelings without external cues, using intuition to guide decisions, controlling emotions suitably to goals, and empathizing with others' emotional perspectives. Developing emotional intelligence requires becoming literate about emotions, distinguishing thoughts from feelings, taking responsibility for one's feelings, using feelings for decision-making and goal-setting, and validating others' emotions.
