What is Hydraform?
- Hydraform is first a building solution, mosltly in
the form of a interlocking block invented to
alleviate the housing crisis.
- It has grown to be used in any type of
construction from low to high cost housing,
schools, clinics, stores and more…
- The Hydraform block is produced with a
Hydraform machine where it compresses the
soil/cement mixture under high pressure to
create a durable, solid load bearing block.
- Machines are either mobile for ease of onsite
production or static for factory set-up.

Thermals quality explained
The thermal quality of the blocks are very
important specially for the one that does
not have air-conditioning. We often forget
that choosing the best product for hot
conditions is extremely important.
As you saw on the graft, in a earth
construction, the temperature remain
roughly equal across the day staying in
the comfort zone for the human. This also
allow serious savings in energy if using a
air-conditioning unit. The walls do not let
the heat transfer.
Thermal is most important in low cost housing
where there is no air-conditioning
