Nursing Clinical Clearances
NEW PRELICENSURE BSN STUDENTS
• Incoming students are required to upload ALL documentation to the Canvas
Clinical Clearance site you will be entered in.
• Complete the Clinical Clearance Quiz – Information will be emailed to you via
NMSU email. Keep a close eye on your NMSU e-mail account.
• Your NMDOH fingerprint notice will be sent to you at that service. (You can
find the agencies that provide NMDOH Fingerprint services by clicking here).
• Upload your clinical clearance documents for each of the individual
"Assignments" by the deadline dates listed in your packet. We will review
them and reply back with instructions on how to proceed. A +1 grade means
that you've completed that requirement successfully. A -1 grade means
something is wrong and you need to review the comments we have posted
