Introduction
Building wiring is the electrical wiring and associated devices such as
switches and light feltings used in buildings or other switches.
Electrical wiring uses insulated conductors wiring insulated
conductors . Wiring safety codes vary by country, and the
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is attempting to
standardize wiring amongst member countess. Wires and cables are
rated by the circuit voltage, temperature and environmental
conditions (moisture, sunlight, oil , chemical) in which they can be
used color-codes are used to distinguish line, neutral and ground
wires.
Scope of task
Understanding the safety protocols while installing electrical wiring
Accustom ones self with bad effects of not following the safety procedures explained by the
lecturer
Understanding the schematic diagram explained and demonstrated by the lecterur
Installing the distribution box in the most accurate manner
Familiarizing the wires in the distribution box and the functionality of it
Understanding the wires path
Installing the bulb outlet and attach the significant wires to the distribution box
Installing 2-3 pin power
Installing a pendaflour lamp socket
Installing a switch
Installing a regulator in a circuit
Controlling the brightness of the bulb using the installed regulator previously installed
PROCEDURE TASK
1.
On the first day we learn about the introduction Electrical Wiring Installation and we exposed to
earthing and protection in wiring.
2.
Then, we learnt on how to understand the schematic diagram fro practical installation
3.
There are three types of wires that were exposed from lecturer
4.
The main task on the first day is student need to install the distribution box that contains mains
switch, RCO and MCB. Each of respective terminal got their own function.
5.
The continuity is checked by using a multimeter after all the wires are re-tighten
6.
Later, on the second day, we installed a bulb
7.
Conduit are cut using the cuter with different length
8.
Conduit are screwed into the wall and all the wires were placed inside it
9.
Distribution board that already screw onto the wall are connected to the conduit of the bulb
installation
10.
The switch is installed
11.
Continuity were checked before the current suplly is turn on to make sure the bulb is light up

On the next day, the fluorescent lamp is installed
13.
Another conduit were cut(same as second day) and screw up in the wall. 3 main wires are
placed inside it
14.
Installing the fluorescent lamp, were required to install fluorescents lamp sockets
15.
The socket are connected with 2.5 mm2 of wires
16.
the wire from the socket are connected with 6MCB of terminal

On the last day, we need to install a fan regulator
18.
Install regulator and the switch to the wall
19.
Latch all the socket onto the walls with screw
20.
The live wire is installed at socket L1

Safety Steps
Dont handle electrical appliances with wet hands to avoid electrocuted
Dont help your friend who were electrocuted with your hand, instead use an
insulator
Always make sure dangerous tools like the wire cutter are properly handled to
avoid any injury
Make sure to dispose the excess hazard properly
Dont put the tools carelessly, without considering the possibilities of getting
injured
Conclusion
The end of the module I have.
Obtained the correct way to handle electrical appliances
Obtained the correct way to helps friends who are electrocuted
Reasons why good earthing is required for safety purposes
The correct way to install the distribution box while obeying the safety
procedures I have learned earlier
The correct way to install a bulb socket
The correct way to install a fluorescent lamp socket and 3 pin plug socket
The correct way to install a regulator for a bulb and the correct installation of
wires inside the socket
