The culture of France and of the French
people has been shaped by geography, by
profound historical events, and by foreign
and internal forces and groups.
France has also played an important role
in cinema, fashion and cuisine.

The Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower is an iron lattice tower
located on the Champ de Mars in Paris,
France. It was named after the engineer
Alexandre Gustave Eiffel, whose company
designed and built the tower.

executive power in the French Republic. It
is composed of the Prime Minister of the
French Republic, who is the head of
government, and both junior and senior
ministers.
