CAUSE OF ANGER AT THE

WORKPLACE

Increase workplace safety

Include anger management in employee safety training. This will help
employee recognizing his own symptoms of anger and reacting to
symptoms displayed by others.
Prevent Workplace Bullying
Intimidate behaviour may be the result of employee anger or can cause employees
to become angry when they believe they are victims of workplace bullying. HR
policies on anger management may address bullying and implement zero-tolerance
for this type of behaviour.

Tackles workplace conflict

The policy will provide steps for employees to report incidents in the workplace to
management or HR. A counsellor, psychologist or therapist in a company could be
helpful for employees to learn better ways of expressing difficult and uncomfortable
emotions and feelings.
