Pengertian
Kalimat aktif (active voice)adalah kalimat

dimana subject-nya melakukan pekerjaan,


sebaliknya,kalimat pasif (passive
voice)adalah kalimat dimana subject-nya dikenai
pekerjaan oleh object kalimat. Active voice lebih
sering digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari
dibandingkan dengan passive voice. Namun
demikian, sering kita temukan passive voice di
surat-surat kabar, artikel-artikel di majalahmajalah dan tulisan-tulisan ilmiah. Passive voice
digunakan karena object dari active voice
merupakan informasi yang lebih penting
dibandingkan dengan subject-nya.

Sim ple Future Tense


Jika active voice dalamsimple future tense,

maka be passive voice-nya adalahbe


Contoh:
Active : He will meet them tomorrow.
Passive : Theywill bemet by him tomorrow.
Active : She will water this plant this afternoon.
Passive : This plantwill bewatered by her this
afternoon.
Active : The farmers are going to harvest the
crops next week
Passive : The cropsare going to beharvested
by the farmers next week.

Sim ple Future Tense


Active: Subject + will/shall + first form of the verb + object

Passive: Object of the active sentence + will/shall + be + past participle form of the
verb + by + subject of the active sentence
Active: Iwill writea [Link]: A letterwill be writtenby me.

Active: Shewill helpme.


Passive: Iwill be helpedby her.
Active: Johnwill learnthe lesson.
Passive: The lessonwill be learntby John.
Changing a negative sentence into the passive
Active: Shewill not helpus.
Passive: Wewill not be helpedby her.
Active: Wewill not visitthe hill station this year.
Passive: The hill stationwill not be visitedby us this year.
Active: Weshall not betrayour country.
Passive: Our countryshall not be betrayedby us.
Changing an Interrogative sentence into the passive
Active:Will you helphim?
Passive:Will he be helpedby you?
Active:Will you not helpme?
Passive:Shall I not be helpedby you?
Active:Will they acceptour invitation?
Passive:Will our invitation be acceptedby them?

Future perfect tense


Jika active voice dalamfuture perfect tense, maka

be passive voice-nya adalahbeenyang diletakkan

Contoh:
Active : He will have met them before I
get there tomorrow.
Passive : Theywill have beenmet by
him before I get there tomorrow.
Active : She will have watered this plant
before I get here this afternoon.
Passive : This plantwill have
beenwatered by her before I get here this afternoon.

Future perfect tense


Active: Subject + will/shall + have + past participle form of the verb + object

Passive: Object of the active sentence + will/shall + have + been + past


participle form of the verb + by + subject of the active sentence
Active: Weshall not have acceptedthe invitation.
Passive: The invitationshall not have been acceptedby us.
Active: Shewill have finishedher work.
Passive: Her workwill have been finishedby her.
Active: Theywill have elected himtheir leader.
Passive: Hewill have been electedtheir leader (by them).
Changing an interrogative sentence into the passive
Active:Will she have cookedthe food?
Passive:Will the food have been cookedby her?
Active:Will they have receivedour letter?
Passive: Will our letterhave been receivedby them?
Active:Willtheyhave caughtthe train?
Passive:Willthe trainhave been caughtby them?
Active: Whowill have opposedyou?
Passive: By whomwill you have beenopposed?

Future continuous tense


Jika active voice dalamfuture continuous

tense, maka be passive voice-nya


adalahwill be + being.
Contoh:
Active : He will be meeting them.
Passive : Theywill be beingmet
by him.
Active : She will be watering this
plant.
Passive : This plantwill be
beingwatered by her.

Future perfect continuous


jika active voice dalamfuture perfect

continuous tense, maka be passive voicenya adalahwill have been + being.


Contoh:
Active : He will have been
meeting them.
Passive : Theywill have been
beingmet by him.
Active : She will have been
watering this plant.
Passive : This plantwill have
been beingwatered by her.
