Making noise

1. Do you think it is good for children to make noise?

👉 Yes, I think it’s quite natural and even good for children to make noise sometimes, especially when
they are playing or exploring the world around them. It shows that they are active, energetic, and
curious. However, they should also learn when it’s time to be quiet to respect others.

🟢 Cụm từ nên dùng:

 Be curious and active – tò mò và năng động

 Explore the world around them – khám phá thế giới xung quanh
 Learn appropriate behaviour – học hành vi phù hợp

2. Should children not be allowed to make noise under any circumstances?

👉 I don’t think so. It’s unrealistic to expect children to stay silent all the time. Of course, in certain
places like libraries or during lessons, they need to stay quiet. But in playgrounds or at home, making
noise is a natural part of growing up.

4. Which area is exposed to noise more, the city or the countryside?

👉 Definitely the city. In cities, people are exposed to constant noise from vehicles, construction, and
crowded places. In contrast, the countryside usually has a quiet and comfortable environment with
nature sounds like wind or birds.

🟢 Từ vựng/cụm mô tả môi trường:

 A quiet and comfortable place – nơi yên tĩnh và thoải mái

 Be under pressure due to noise pollution – bị áp lực vì ô nhiễm tiếng ồn
 Noise-free surroundings – môi trường không có tiếng ồn

5. How would people usually respond to noises in your country?

👉 It depends on the situation. If it’s during rest time or at night, people usually feel annoyed and may
complain. But if it’s daytime and the noise comes from children or celebrations, they tend to be more
tolerant.

🟢 Cụm nên dùng:

 Feel annoyed / feel irritated – cảm thấy khó chịu

 Be tolerant of some noise – khoan dung với một số tiếng ồn
 Complain to authorities or neighbors – phàn nàn với chính quyền hoặc hàng xóm
