Introduction
In Huddle, you step into the role of a fantasy football manager, where strategic roster
building and weekly matchups are key. Face off against up to five other managers in a
fast-paced race for the championship. Only the most skilled and strategic manager will
emerge victorious at season’s end
Game Objective
Win as many weekly matchups as possible to become the Huddle Champion. Draft a
strong team, manage your roster, and adapt to weekly challenges. The 2 managers with

5. Nominate a Commissioner, Determine Season
Agree who will serve as the Commissioner.
This person will determine the length of the season.
For example, in a 4-manager game, you might play 3
weeks, where each manager faces every other team
once. They will also be responsible for pulling and
reading the team news card each week.

Gameplay
Huddle unfolds in three primary phases:
The Draft: A fast-paced auction phase with multiple 1-minute rounds where
managers bid tokens on players. Managers use a 20-token budget strategically to
outbid opponents and fill their roster.
The Season: Where managers react to news alerts, refine their rosters through free
agency or trades, and face off in head-to-head dice duel matchups, aiming to
outscore their opponent.
The Championship: Where the top two teams from the regular season face off in a
final contest to determine the Huddle Champion.
I. The Draft:
Start the Round: Flip the top card from each position pile (QB, RB, WR, etc.) face-up and start
the 1-minute timer.
Bidding: Managers can bid on multiple players each round, and every bid must exceed the
current high bid. All managers must place at least one bid per round, even if the pool sucks.
Winning Bids: A bid ends when no manager is willing to exceed the current high bid (e.g.,
RB has 5 tokens, and no one bids 6). The highest bidder adds the player to their roster and
flips the next card for bidding if time remains.
End of Round: When the timer ends, finalize all bids. Return unsuccessful tokens to
managers, and place winning tokens back into their bags.
Repeat 1-minute rounds until all managers have filled their rosters within the 20-token
budget.
Draft Tips:
Be strategic with your bids to ensure a complete roster.
Unspent tokens can be used in Season Free Agency.
05 Team Stacking: If you have one or more players from the same team, you will be eligible to
add an extra dice onto one of those players each week. You can stack up to three teams.

The Draft Preview
II. The Season
The season is broken into weeks, and the number of weeks has been set by the
commissioner by now. For every week you get one token for your season free agency
budget (plus any leftovers from the draft). Each week consists of News Alerts, Free
Agency and the Game.
News Alerts reveal events that affect players and teams. To start, the Commissioner
pulls a Team News card and applies the effects to all managers.
Next, all managers pull a Player News card that will impact just one position on their
roster. Resolve that event and its onto Free Agency.
The event might mean you have to acquire new players or move players from the active
roster to the bench.

1 Minute
Free Agency is where managers can acquire Bidding
the RB Card
new players or make trades. Just like in the
draft, players get 1 minute to place bids on
players if they want. However, there is only
one round in free agency.
Trading is also encouraged so Managers may
trade players or tokens with others before
07 the Game phase.
Tips: If you add a player during free agency you must remove another player from your
roster and place them in a pile on the table. This pool of players are always available
for Managers to pick up for free.
The Game is a head-to-head matchup where managers roll dice to determine their
score.

[Link] the Dice:
Roll dice equal to each player’s star ranking. Dice that leave the field of play do not
count towards your score.

The total count of your dice is that players score. Record scores for each position,
tally the weekly total, and see who won! High score wins. The losing manager gains an
additional Free Agency chip.

III. The Championship
Championship: At season’s end, the top two teams advance to the Championship. In the
case of a tie, three teams can compete in a final match.
Championship Week: Follow the usual weekly routine (News Alerts, Free Agency, Game)
to determine the champion.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an auction draft?
An auction draft is a method of selecting players for your Huddle team. Instead of
taking turns, players bid on players using a fixed budget. The highest bidder acquires
the player, adding excitement and strategic depth to the draft process.
What happens if there is a three-way tie for the championship?
In the case of a three-way tie, all three teams compete in a single championship round.
Follow the usual weekly routine, including News Alerts, Free Agency, and The Game
phase, to determine the final winner.
What if I run out of Free Agency chips during the season?
If you run out of Free Agency chips, you can no longer bid on players in Free Agency.
You’ll need to manage your existing roster for the remainder of the season.
What happens if I can’t field a complete lineup due to injuries or News Alerts?
If you’re unable to fill a position, you will roll zero dice for that position during the
matchup. Use Free Agency or trades to fill gaps in your roster before the next week.
What happens if two managers bid the same amount during the draft or Free Agency?
There can be no tie bids during the draft or free agency. If a player bids 3 tokens for a
player, the next bid has to be 4 or more. The first player to put their bid down hast he
initial right to that player.
