1. OBJECTIVE

This procedure aims to establish the necessary conditions for the

correct assembly of static mechanical equipment on its foundation according to plans
approved, ensuring the safety of personnel and the integrity of equipment and
instalaciones.

2. SCOPE

This procedure applies to the assembly work of stationary equipment in EL.

Combined Cycle Project Tierra Mojada includes the preparation of the foundation
from the equipment to be mounted, the selection of lifting equipment and accessories, the alignment in
its axes, leveling, verticality, and application of grout.

3. TERMS AND DEFINITIONS

3.1 Static Equipment. It is a mechanical equipment that has no moving parts.

functioning.

3.2 Anchor Bolts. It is a steel element with a round cross-section and

cables, embedded in the foundation concrete that serves to support the loads
of a team already installed in its foundation.

3.3 Anchor Projection. It is the free distance that the anchor has measured from the level
from the finished concrete top up to the very top of the anchor.

4. RESPONSABILIDADES/OBLIGACIONES

Gerente de Construcción en Sitio. Es el responsable de la aplicación y cumplimiento

de los lineamientos de este procedimiento.

Mechanical Supervisor. He is responsible for supervising and verifying that the staff, of
equipment assembly comply with the steps described here so that the equipment
installed in a reliable, safe manner and in accordance with quality standards.

HSE Supervisor. He is responsible for verifying and supervising that all the
equipment assembly activities are carried out in compliance with all guidelines
for safety to avoid incidents.

Mechanical Quality Inspector. He is responsible for verifying that each requirement is met.
one of the inspections established in the Inspection and Testing Plan, defined for
the equipment assembly process.

Operator. He is directly responsible for inspecting and verifying that the crane and
lifting accessories, such as shackles, slings, spacers, spreaders, etc. are
in good condition and meet the safe capacity for lifting and assembly operations.

5. NORMATIVE FRAMEWORK.

Specific Customer Specification.

6. DESCRIPTION.

6.1 Preliminary Activities

The general layout plans, sections, and details of the equipment must be obtained in the same way.

team mechanics, also verify these values physically with the equipment
topography.

Compare the elevation values of the leveling plates with the mechanical and civil plan.
and I physically verified these values with the surveying equipment, at the foundation of
equipment to be assembled.

Physically check the diameter of the anchors against the diameter of the drilled holes.
This equipment must have at least 1/8" of clearance tolerance.

6.2 Preparation of the Equipment and its Lifting.

Upon the arrival of the team, together with the Quality Control Department and with
the manufacturing plans, last revision, check the equipment TAG, the material of
manufacturing, the empty weight of the equipment, the dimensions, the specifications and orientation
from the nozzles, number of holes, position and distances between holes in the equipment.
In case of finding any deviation from the mechanical plans, it must
inform the quality area to proceed to raise a possible Non-Conformity.

For the equipment in which their manufacturing process is heat treated, there

of the team body.

If the equipment weighs more than 20 tons, prepare the lifting kinematics and
assembly taking into account the following:

The weight of the equipment plus the weight of the lifting accessories
The positioning distance of the crane
The crane's capacity according to its capacity chart, at the distance of
its positioning from the center of the crane to the equipment assembly center
Crane turning radius.
Position of the mother crane if required.

In case the equipment does not have Nitrogen pressure, check and notify through
an RFI 'Request for Information or Change' if required by the engineering department.

If the equipment does not require nitrogen pressure, protect the interior of the equipment by installing it.

6.3 Lifting Activities.

Check the terrain where the crane and transportation equipment will be located with the team.
confirming that the ground is solidly compacted and that there are no electrical lines
close to the maneuver site there should be no objects that hinder turning and movement
from the crane and in general that the environment is safe.

Inspect the crane beforehand before entering the site, check the logbook the
maintenance status, it must have its inspection and documentation of
recent certification.

Verify that the crane operator has submitted their medical assessment for the day.
in addition to having their recent certification documentation.

Inspect the lifting accessories, such as shackles in good condition without dents or
dents, strobe lights, slings without wear or breakage, dogs without cracks, tirfos,
diferenciales, pernos y balancín.

Ensure that all personnel have their personal protective equipment (PPE)
use including harnesses with double life lines for work at heights.
