A hobby is a regular activity that is done for enjoyment, typically during one’s leisure time.
Hobbies can include collecting themed items and objects, engaging in creative and artistic
pursuits, playing sports, or pursuing other amusements. By continually participating in a
particular hobby, one can acquire substantial skill and knowledge in that area. Hobby is
something that a person develops from childhood, more specifically during primary school, to
late life. We can never predict when we develop interests in new things and have a likeness
towards it.
In this busy daily schedule, we all get so busy in our life routine that sometime we forget to
give out time for our hobbies. Indulging in a hobby is actually good for a sound health. We all
need a time of leisure for ourselves and that partícular time is when we like to do something
that gives us immense happiness.

making their childhoods memorable and full of adventure.
Part 3.
Few Americans live in the areas of wild and beautiful scenery, like the Western states of Montana and
Colorado. We often see small farms surrounded by hills and green areas in the New England states, such as
Vermont and New Hampshire. In Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and other Midwestern states, there are very large
fields of corn or wheat with great distances between towns.
About a quarter of Americans live outside cities and towns because life there is harder. Shops, post
offices, hospitals, schools, etc. may be further away and it takes rural people a very long time to get there.
However, many people choose to live in the countryside because of its safe, clean, and attractive environment.
But their children often move to a town or city when they grow up.
Part 4.

Ms Kate: Alright, Vy. So what subjects are you interested in?
Vy: English and history. I love reading about things that happened in the past. I can read in English, and I easily
remember events.
Ms Kate: Wow. Not everyone does well in those subjects. You should be proud of that. So, you want to
become a historian?
Vy: Definitely, Miss. But my classmates all laughed at me when I told them.
Ms. Kate: Don’t be nervous, Vy. You should be more confident in your abilities and don’t be afraid to show
others what you can do. I’ll start a discussion in the school.

My name is Nam. Last weekend, I visited the countryside with my classmates. The place is not very
far from our town. We came there by bus, a journey of two hours. On arriving there,
we went straight to our friend’s house. He is Trung whose parents are farmers living in the
countryside. We drank coconut milk and ate a lot of country pancakes. After that we went flying
kites in a paddy field then we went swimming in the river near Trung’s house. We played games
together. Finally, in the afternoon we left the countryside for the town. And reached home at about 6
p.m. We really had a lot of fun. The countryside is wonderful to me. It has more beautiful and
interesting places than in the town.
