01-04- 2020 GITA RAHASYAM – Chapter 4 ---Answers
QUESTIONS BY AUDIENCE FROM HG RSP’s GITA RAHASYAM
PROGRAM and ANSWERS BY SAMARPAN GOPA DASA (Brahmachari
from ISKCON NVCC, PUNE) ON THE REQUEST OF HG RADHESHYAM
PRABHU.
1. Sudhanshu Dutt - it is said that men should not indulge with
women excessively , that brings about their downfall &
degradation , why is this not said about women also , are
they not prone to downfall & degradation
2. Sudhanshu Dutt - we know Krishna to b supreme but
materialists ask what's proof that he ever existed or even if
so, he was God. Scriptures are written by normal people and
they've interpreted things as they wanted"
a. Your bith above enquiries are answered previous day
that is first day, have you seen file of answers
uploaded?
3. Mahendra Kale - what type of Akarma we can go for God
(other than chanting )
a. any activity of devotional service done for pleasure of
krsna including chanting is akarma ---- no material
reaction
b. all navavidha bhakti like hearing, chanting,
remembering, serving lotus feet of lord, deity worship
etc ….also distributing books, cooking ------when done
for pleasure of krsna are all akarma.
4. Venkat Kalepalli - What is spiritual intelligence and how it is
different from material intelligence?
a. Spiritual intelligence is that which comes and which is
based on Guru, sadhu and sastra (GSS) which is used to
control our mind and senses and even our intelligence
also. Function of intelligence is discrimination/discretion
which means to differentiate between good and bad,
beneficial and harmful, long term and short term in
every sphere of life everyday. So when this
discrimination comes from what we have heard from
guru/sadhu/sastra is spiritual intelligence.
b. Material intelligence means our ability to discriminate
based on our own experiences in past in every sphere
of life. This discrimination is not based on what we have
heard from GSS. That is why it is called as material
intelligence as it has no connection with spiritual
knowledge which is absolute which does not change
with time. Material knowledge keeps on changing,
upgrading etc. Current scientist knowledge is all based
on material intelligence. Material intelligence what one
has depends upon his past karma/destiny.
c. In short material intelligence is used to manipulate
matter for one’s own pleasure without connection with
God and His given knowledge of scripture. This can
make one superior to others who are less intelligent
materially.
d. Spiritual intelligence is inspired by lord from within
heart seeing sincerity of devotee/seeker, it is also
called “prajna”. Spiritual intelligence means ability to
utilize everything and everyone in service of lord
including material intelligence and those having
material intelligence. This was amazingly depicted in
life our founder acarya Srila Prabhupada who had
amazing spiritual intelligence to engage everything and
everyone in service of krsna and make them happy.
Spiritual intelligent person is one whose intelligence is
fixed in Krsna consciousness (Sthita Prajna). His
symptoms can be known by reading BG 2.54 onwards
5. mayura delight - Hare krsna prabhu can we offer food to Lord
Krsna without a guru ?
a. We can surely offer to krsna by following authentic
procedure, till we accept guru we can offer without guru
in future. Krsna is very kind to all souls so He accepts it
when it is offered with devotion as He says beautifully
in BG 9.26.
patraà puñpaà phalaà toyaà
yo me bhaktyä prayacchati
tad ahaà bhakty-upahåtam
açnämi prayatätmanaù
b. If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower,
a fruit or water, I will accept it.
6. Asutosh Beuria - Hare Krishna pr We see that there are many
good sadhus in past ,many contemporary sadhus who are
described as great devotees of the Lord but we cant trace
their link with any parampara. plz explain.
a. True sadhu will surely have his guru from whom he
received mercy of lord, true sadhu never claims to be
himself god and all knowing rather true sadhu is
humble to give all credit to his guru and lord for
receiving their grace in his life. And true sadhu directs
everyone to become follower of god and not just
follower of him. IKOCN founder acarya Srila prabhupada
is best example of such true sadhu.
b. Without connection with bonafied parampara one will
not get perfection of spiritual life. Yesterday prabhu told
in class about importance and necessity of parampara.
Sastras say about the mantra which one chants if it is
not received in parampara will not give him fruit.
c. Srila prabhupada clearly says in his brilliant purport SB
6.3.20-21 as follows “In the Padma Puräëa it is said,
sampradäya-vihénä ye manträs te niñphalä
matäù: if one does not follow the four recognized
disciplic successions, his mantra or initiation is
useless. In the present day there are many
apasampradäyas, or sampradäyas which are not bona
fide, which have no link to authorities like Lord Brahmä,
Lord Çiva, the Kumäras or Lakñmé. People are
misguided by such sampradäyas. The çästras say
that being initiated in such a sampradäya is a
useless waste of time, for it will never enable one
to understand the real religious principles.”
d. These are brilliant verses spoken by Yamaraja to
yamadutas in amazing episode of Ajamila in glorious
scripture Srimad bhagavatam. You may refer these
verses.
7. Mahalakshmi G - Hare Krishna prabhuji. Eternally there are
only 4 sampradaya. What is this sampradaya? Krishna to Sun
god then to manu? which sampradaya is this?
a. This is surely one of the authentic sampradayas as it as
started from source of all authenticity the lord himself!
b. Currently I am not aware about details, It is sufficient to
understand that what BG teaches is what is followed by all 4
authentic sampradays as absolute truth without any
conditions.
8. arvind Gupta - bhu devi means earth only ri8!! is it just
becoz in earth human lives ? Lord vishnu have only bhu devi
and sri devi ?
a. Yes mother earth is bhudevi which is consort of lord
which shelters all living entities on her lap and provides
all necessities for their sustenance.
b. Sridevi, goddess of fortune, is another consort of lord
Vishnu. Both of them are situated on chest of lord
Vishnu.
9. prahalad kumar dubey - killing mosquito is punya or
paap???
a. Punya is activity done following scriptural codes for
ones own happiness. So killing mosquito is papa as it is
hurting a living entity which is part and parcel of god.
b. We can use mosquito net and try to keep our
surroundings clean to avoid mosquitos. Killing is neither
right nor long term solution as it will produce reaction
although it appears quick solution. We cannot kill all
mosquitoes and even if we do kill, more mosquitoes will
take birth as they generate very fast, how many we can
kill ?
10. Ranjana Ravindranath - Hare Krishna, dandavat
pranams, can you kindly explain Budhi yoga and Bhakti yoga
a. Both are almost same with slight difference.
b. Bhakti yoga is activity done with desire to please lord
without attachment to fruits or any particular act.
c. Buddhi yoga is stretchable term which starts from
niskama karma yoga till bhakti yoga where lord gives
intelligence (buddhi) to the sadhaka as he is following
scriptures to act in his life. That’s why it is titled as
buddhi yoga.
11. Shweta Pote - if one Is Doing bhakti due To greed Of
Going to vaikuntha & another one Is Doing Due To pure love
only,, whether there's any Diff. in Results that they will
receive.(PLZZ tell radheshyam Prabhu to ans_) Diff. Betn.
Goloka and Vaikuntha. Wth Properties of It..??
a. Pure love is best possible motivation to practice bhakti
by which one can attain goloka vrindavan. If one
practices bhakti while one desires opulence he will go
to vaikuntha.
b. Goloka which is home of supreme lord krsna where he
is most intimately exchanges love with his family
members with varieties of relationships.
c. Vaikuntha is abode of innumerable incarnations of lord
Narayana and his wonderful devotees where there is
prominently one relationship of master and servant.
d. Both places all devotees are completely happy in
association of lord which they receive according to their
desire to serve lord in particular way.
12. arvind Gupta - if moon is presiding deity of mind then
why we do spiritual activities in morning and not prefer night
a. Spiritual activities are done for realizing I am spirit soul
different from gross and subtle matter that is mind and
body.
b. Moon is presiding deity of mind which is present during
the day also, only on the day of pournima moon is not
seen during the day.
c. Lord tells in scriptures that morning brahma muhurta
time is most conducive for spiritual experience and
realization as the receptivity is best at this time as
there is no disturbance from anything as all are
sleeping/inactive.
d. Best course of action for sadhaka is to try his best to
follow scripture to go closer to god and become happy
in association of those who follow sincerely.
13. karan Kapoor - Can you please give some quotes from
scriptures where it is told that Krishna's body is not different
from his soul??
a. Brahma Samhita brahmaji reveals to all of us “ishvara
parama krsna sat cit Ananda vigraha” Krsna is supreme
lord and He has eternal form which is full of knowledge
and bliss. BG 4.6 also says
ajo 'pi sann avyayätmä
bhütänäm éçvaro 'pi san
prakåtià sväm adhiñöhäya
sambhavämy ätma-mäyayä
Although I am unborn and My transcendental
body never deteriorates, and although I am the
Lord of all living entities, by My internal energy I
still appear in every millennium in My original
transcendental form.
b. So krsna is complete spirit who appears in this world by
his own will, not like us that we have material body
differently now in conditioned state and come this
material world by karma.
c. When conditioned soul goes attains perfection by
practice of bhakti yoga he also gets body which is
complete spirit like krsna “sat chit ananada vigraha”
14. priyanshu Prasad - Prabhu, why some people wear 6
Kanthi malas
a. Number of malas is not very important but principles to
follow are important and we must understand and
respect sacredness of tulasi devi from which kanthi
mala is meant.
15. Dandavat pranam Prabhuji, whether GRIHASTA
COUNCILLOR is mandatory 4 initiation, even if 1 is strictly
practsng d 4 ncsry ruls& chntg 16 rnds 4 > thn 3 yrs &lives
in remote area,hv no vsnv ascts?
16. paras sonawani - is saibaba is God?
a. Thing is great saints are special sons of lord who take
us closer to god and make us happy. Saibaba was great
saint who was beyond sectarian concepts of
hindu/muslim. He also says “sabka malik ek hai” but I
never heard him saying “that is myself”
b. What I heard is that he always encouraged everyone to
become servant of god and he also used to chant holy
names of lord krsna and he showed it by serving all
souls.
c. Like jesus crist, mohhamad and other saints claim that
they are sons of god.
d. If easily possible Listen to Tamal Krishna Goswami
lecture on sai baba, on youtube. You will get full clarity.
17. GIRIDHAR KORUKONDA - hare krsna pr ji some people
may say that god has given us things for enjoyment why we
have to restrict our enjoyment by some restrictions
a. How much can one enjoy and how long? That should be
pondered over. If a man wants to smoke cigarrete he
get lungs cancer. Illicit sexual relations similarly lead to
AIDs. Diseases itself is signal of nature that we are
meant to lead a regulated life.
b. Anyways god has given his instructions within which
one can safely enjoy. In Krishna Consciousness
movement devotees enjoy unlimited bliss without any
side effect.
18. Vinod Patel - isn't possible to start direct bhakti yog in
grahsta aaharam? iskcon teaches which yoga ?
a. Yes, surely. Actually eventually all of us have to
become grihatshas after returning back to goloka
vrindavan joining krsna’s family. There is no
brahmachari or sanyasi in goloka vrindavan.
b. ISKCON teaches Bhakti yoga which can be practiced by
anyone and everyone irrespective of varna and
ashrama, even some animals also have practiced
bhakti.
19. Lakshmi Vishnubhotla - Prabhuji pls explain what is
Absolute means. Krishna is Absolute truth
a. Absolute means that which does not change in any
situations according to time and place. Absolute means
which is not RELATIVE.
20. Harmendra Mishra - hare krishna PAMHO, can you
describe the mechanism that how my understanding Janma
and Karma of KRishna. One get liberated ? Prabhuji, then
what is the mechanism that my heart get purified by
understanding the glories of Lord. And also is it like Krishna
liberates us or soul desires to move out.
a. Pritish Patra - HK P pamho How just by knowing the
transcedental nature of lord's birth and activities can
liberate us? This means all devotees can go BTG. Ys
pritish—(SIMILAR ENQUIRY)
b. Material word where we are staying is compared to jail
and all prisoners stay in jail. Govt and PM has made jail
with purpose of reformation of criminals/prisoners.
People who are in prison have done some kind of crime.
Once the prisoner understands his mistake and
genuinely repents and knows the purpose of govt and
knows nature of PM, he can write letter to PM seeking
help to get out. And PM can give special concession for
sincere repenting prisoner through AMNESTY. This
letter is written after knowing the personality of PM as
wellwisher of all and rules of the city which needs to be
followed.
c. Similarly when we know who is krsna, how merciful is
he who is constantly working for our welfare, he
appears in this prisonlike material world to attract us
through his nice pastimes and activities, he also comes
in this world in form of scriptures and sadhus who tell
us about our father. Once by knowing birth and
activities of lord krsna we can easily understand our
mistakes and repent for them and practice devotional
service. That’s how we get liberated simply by properly
understanding birth and activities of lord.
d. Naturally if you love someone you wish to do what they
like so by hearing about krsna you will start loving
krsna and automatically get liberated.
21. arun thakare -- Dandavat pranam Prabhuji, why's Lord
Krishna giving us FREE WILL& then punishes severely? why's
He interested in ths cruel game? why at once He forgives d
JIVAS & keep dem in His transcendental service?
a. lord does not even know this word CRUEL --- he is all
good alls wellwisher always ---he helps even an atheist
who does not believe in his existence ---
22. Jayadurga Yadla - Hk prabhuji dandavath we r hearing,
Reading, but our chanting is not going good, some times
become disturbance in mind. please give advice how I keep
my mind?
a. Srila Prabhupada Says, just chant the mantra and hear
it. Mind has tendency to wander,, but by deliberate
practice, we have to bring it back to focus everytime we
identify it. By such practice gradually our focus on
chanting will improve.
b. Have a good 6hours sleep previous night. Before
chanting take some deep breathes and contemplate on
your relation with Krsna and with a prayerful and
devotional mood start to chant. You can find many tips
in various japa books like “Japa Reform Notebook” by
Satsvarupa Das Goswami maharaj etc.
c. One more important thing is we must hear about
personality of krsna and qualities of krsna and get
captivated by such information of lord whose name we
are chanting. This will surely help. We must improve
our quality of hearing and reading that is attentiveness
as well as contemplation and check how much I have
truly assimilated the information I heard about all good
all merciful all attractive personality of krsna.
23. Subir Kachroo - HK, PAOMHO AGTSP, What is the best
way to understand the SPOG Krishna's Divine Birth and
activities which can help us in practicing our DS perfectly in
the service of Hari, Guru and Vaishnavas.
24. Tripada Dash - BG 4.27 - Yoga is for purifying the soul
of material attachment. BG 4.28 - Krsna consciousness
cannot be attained by any one of the above-mentioned types
of sacrifice. If can one purify the soul just by Yoga and then
what is the requirement of Krsna consciousness?
a. Yoga comes from Sanskrit word “Yuj” which means to
connect. To connect with whom? God.
b. As Radheshyam Pr discussed before, there are various
stages in the yoga ladder which finally culminates in
bhakti yoga. One may adopt other forms to yoga like
hath yoga (pranayama, asnaa), karma yoga (sakama
and nishkama) and gyana yoga, ashtanga yoga, but
they are means to come to bhakti yoga eventually.
Unless one reaches the highest step of the staircase,
one cannot reach the top floor which is vaikuntha.
c. Krsna Consciousness is bhakti yoga. Krsna endorses it
to be the topmost yoga in BG 6.47 purport:
d. “The culmination of all kinds of yoga practices lies in
bhakti yoga. All other yogas are but means to come to
the point of bhakti in bhakti-yoga. Yoga actually means
bhakti-yoga; all other yogas are progressions toward
the destination of bhakti-yoga. From the beginning of
karma-yoga to the end of bhakti-yoga is a long way to
self-realization. Karma-yoga, without fruitive results, is
the beginning of this path. When karma-yoga increases
in knowledge and renunciation, the stage is called
jïäna-yoga. When jïäna-yoga increases in meditation on
the Supersoul by different physical processes, and the
mind is on Him, it is called añöäìga-yoga. And when one
surpasses the añöäìga-yoga and comes to the point of
the Supreme Personality of Godhead Kåñëa, it is called
bhakti yoga, the culmination. Factually, bhakti-yoga is
the ultimate goal, but to analyze bhakti-yoga minutely
one has to understand these other yogas. The yogé
who is progressive is therefore on the true path of
eternal good fortune. One who sticks to a particular
point and does not make further progress is called by
that particular name: karma-yogé, jïäna-yogé or
dhyäna-yogé, räja-yogé, haöha-yogé, etc. If one is
fortunate enough to come to the point of bhakti-yoga, it
is to be understood that he has surpassed all other
yogas. Therefore, to become Kåñëa conscious is the
highest stage of yoga, just as, when we speak of
Himälayan, we refer to the world's highest mountains,
of which the highest peak, Mount Everest, is considered
to be the culmination.
e. It is by great fortune that one comes to Kåñëa
consciousness on the path of bhakti-yoga to become
well situated according to the Vedic direction. The ideal
yogé concentrates his attention on Kåñëa who is called
Çyämasundara, who is as beautifully colored as a cloud,
whose lotuslike face is as effulgent as the sun, whose
dress is brilliant with jewels and whose body is flower-
garlanded. Illuminating all sides is His gorgeous luster,
which is called the brahmajyoti. He incarnates in
different forms such as Räma, Nåsiàha, Varäha and
Kåñëa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and He
descends like a human being, as the son of mother
Yaçodä, and He is known as Kåñëa, Govinda and
Väsudeva. He is the perfect child, husband, friend and
master, and He is full with all opulences and
transcendental qualities. If one remains fully conscious
of these features of the Lord, he is called the highest
yogi.
f. This stage of highest perfection in yoga can be attained
only by bhakti-yoga, as is confirmed in all Vedic
literature”
25. yalamanchi supriiya - demons who killed by Krishna are
they go to brahman or goloka, where putana gone ?
a. Destination of demons killed by krsna is dependent on
multiple factors which are considered by krsna who is
completely independent to give any destination.
b. Putana went to Golaka as she desired and served lord
by breast feeding baby Krsna which is also an act of
Devotional Service.
c. He brother Aghasura was also given vaikuntha/sarupya
mukti by krsna because his dead body was nice place
to play for gopas and he gave some pleasure to gopas.
So Krsna gave him special mercy and inspite of his
abominable desire to kill all vrajvais krsna sent him to
vaikuntha after purifying him by entering him.
d. Generally demons killed by Krsna get liberated and go
to brahman as they were inimical to Krsna. Some specific
deamons are special cases where one has to see history.
26. Subir Kachroo - HK, Why doesn't every living entity
want to get purified even after they suffer too much in this
material world and even after we approach them they do not
want to hear.
a. Please read verse BG 3.39 – wonderful verse and
purport by srila prabhupada – some statements are ----
‘”In the ordinary prison house, criminals are kept within
bars; similarly, the criminals who are disobedient to the
laws of the Lord are shackled by sex life. Advancement
of material civilization on the basis of sense
gratification means increasing the duration of the
material existence of a living entity. Therefore, this lust
is the symbol of ignorance by which the living entity is
kept within the material world. While one enjoys sense
gratification, it may be that there is some feeling of
happiness, but actually that so-called feeling of
happiness is the ultimate enemy of the sense enjoyer.”
b. A living entity would wish to be purified when he knows
that he is not purified. Even after knowing that his acts
are impure, due to strong sense of enjoyment mentality
since many lifetimes, soul doesn’t want to give up
those acts. Even though he suffers he believes that he
can avoid it by some material arrangement. A little
temporary happiness he might get, blinds him and he
thinks that he has got control of life. Thus he lives in
illusion as the ultimate controller which he is not. He
doesn’t want to surrender unto a higher power (God)
and act as per His intructions because of his envious
attitude. That’s his misuse of free will.
c. Such people can change by repeated experience until
they realise they are not in control and by mercy of
devotees.
d. To be very frank we are also not fully convinced that i
am sufferring because then only we can takes shelter of
krsna by bhakti at every movement, so it takes
intelligent man who thinks logically to understand and
realise that I am suffering.
e. So you can give your nice blissful association to such
people and gradually by hearing from you/other
devotees and eating prasadam they will gradually
elevate their understanding of material world.
27. Asutosh Beuria - Hare Krishna pr Pamho But path of
Karma as explained in previous ch. gradually leads to
purification of heart, how it leads to bondage ??
a. In start of lecture of chapter 5 prabhuji specifically
answered your sincere enquiry to all, you might have
heard, if not please hear first few minutes you will find
brilliant explanation with examples.
28. Lavanya Murali - Prabhuji, are Dharma and Karma
linked? For instance, Arjuna was advised to fight by Krishna
and hence maintain his Dharma. But, fighting is also an
archer’s karma.
a. Dharma is set of instructions laid down by the Supreme
Personality of Godhead Krishna.
b. Karma are activities which are performed according to
Vedic injunctions, and results of such act is offered to
the Lord.
c. Fighting is archer’s dharma or prescribed duty.
When he fights, its action in accordance with vedic
injunctions and thus karma.
29. PRADIP KUMAR - pr, was duryodhan able to see
vishwaroop of krsna?
a. In battlefield Arjuna was given special/divine eyes by
krsna to see vishvarupa.
b. Duryodhana could see some glimpse of vishvarupa
when he tried to captuture and arrest krsna when He
went as peace messenger. That time Krsna showed
vishvarupa to duryodhana and even Dhritarastra who
was blind.
30. Dhiraj pr/Shweta Pote - what's a the Exact Meaning/
Places of Swarg & nark in Sanatan Dharma ?? plz ans.
Prabhuji and - but, Suffering (life_death cycle) Is There Also
(6 planets Above earth) Then Why It's Called as heaven..?
a. Svarga are heavenly planets which are above earth and
narka is below earth. Total universe has 14 planetary
systems, we are at middle on earth.
b. Its like 14 story building 7 stories below ground and 6
above ground, we are ground floor on earth, svarga is 2
stories above us and naraka are 7 stories bellow us.
c. Its called heaven because there is no disease and death in
svarga like here on earth, also material enjoyments are
very finer than earth with more capacity. But
essentially everything is temporary which causes
suffering after longtime.
d. In short, heaven is like AC room inside prison and earth
is non AC room in the same jail. One shifts to AC room
only for certain period of time and then he returns to
normal room.
e. One more analogy - Heaven means we get pleasure
and enjoyment more than that we get on earthly
planets. It is like, when one has a lot of money, one
may go on a trip to Switzerland for one month. One can
certainly enjoy a lot there but when he expends almost
all his money, he has to return back to his native place.
Similarly enjoyment is certainly there in heaven but it
has a start and end. The real problems of life (birth
death old age and disease are not solved) and hence
wise don’t delight in it.
31. paras sonawani - how do we know what is desire of lord
in our life?
a. We can know that by reading revealed scriptures like
Bhagavad gita and Srimad Bhagavatam. Scriptues are
called love letters of lord which help living entity to
come closer to god. We get to know Lord’s desires. For
specific guidance and instructions we should approach
a bonafide Guru who is transparent via medium of God.
b. BG 4.34 - Just try to learn the truth by approaching a
spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and
render service unto him. The self-realized souls can
impart knowledge unto you because they have seen the
truth.
32. Sriram Patro - Destiny determines...pls tell this...yas
a. destiny determines results of our actions and not the
choice of actions themselves ---vidura told dhritarastra
33. kartiki turkar - hare Krsna dandvat..we all carry our
baggage of karma and we are predestined..please explain
what role freewill has...do we have choice...please shower
some light
a. What is destined by karma is our birth, bodily beauty,
family wealth, education which cannot be chosen by
anyone but how you utilise these (wealth, birth,
education) in day today life will determine your future
destiny.
b. In simple words destiny is what happened till yesterday
and freewill is what you are doing today. Destiny is not
frozen concept but its dynamic based on utilization of
freewill.
34. mahesh kumar - hk prji pamho Krishna gives free will,
but is our destiny what we choose is already fixed
irrespective of our free will . could u pls clarify
a. Our free will is not forced ---that’s why it is called free
will ----just like you are using freewill nicely to hear
lecture on BG where as there are many who are not
hearing BG like you although they also have this good
option.
b. What we choose is never fixed, it’s always your choice,
which will give you result. Bible also says same law of
karma --as u sow shall u reap
c. Just read answer above this one as it is similar enquiry –
which tells what is “destiny”
35. Himanshu Ranjan - hk, dp.....I had question from
previous sessions...why Jada bharata was not awarded a
birth in devotees family? Ys
a. Jada bharat was more advanced in devotion than last
two lives of bharat maharaja as king and deer. Because
we have to remember and believe krsnas promise “my
devotee never perishes” and “bhakti never gets
destroyed but always gets carried forward in next birth
surely”. This is given in BG 2.40, BG 9.30 and 31.
Please refer these brilliant purports by srila
prabhupada.
b. He was so focused on devotional service that it was
immaterial for him which family he stayed. He was
absorbed internally in devotion to lord and he was
indifferent to everything external. He never retaliated
for so mnay injustices by his family members.
c. Also he got Brahmin family birth which is also rare.
d. Bharat maharaja pastime is enacted by lord to teach us
lessons.
36. Hema Nagarajan - Hare Krishna, In the Brahmana story,
the karma is tallied for brahmana and the Butcher. But for
the woman New karma is created bevause she killed
husband and offends a brahmana.
37. niranjan panda - Harekrishna prji, what should we
answer to butcher being a brambhin?
a. Cow protection is higher dharma than truthfulness so
he must have lied to the butcher and this is alright
based on proper understanding of scripture. Maturity
means to evaluate and discern higher and lower
principles of dharma in a particular situation of life.
38. Trupti Wankhede - hare Krishna, why lord allows us to
do bad karmas....if he is our father....
a. Because we ‘want to do bad things’, ask yourself
honestly. He does not force us anything, becuase pure
love means no force complete freedom, true lover
never thinks about himself but he thinks always about
his beloved and beloveds pleasure and welfare.
b. As our loving eternal father he helps us by giving us
sufferring when we do something wrong like adamant
child against desire of father, OR just as mother slaps
child out of love when he does mischief.
39. Parth Renwa - hare krishna prabhuji.pamho. arjuna was
qualified to hear because he was bhakta and sakha. but
hanuman is not sakha, so can't he hear. what does sakha
mean here...
a. Every bhakta can hear BG including hanuman who is
one of the best bhakta of lord rama and he is hero for
all bhaktas.
b. Sakha means intimate friend which was arjuna who is
also bhakta with different relationship with Krsna.
Hanuman had servant relationship with master lord
rama. Both are bhaktas.
