This Crochet pattern doesn’t

should have basic crochet

Abbreviations
Ch = chain
Mr = magic ring
Slst = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
inc = increase
dec = decrease
bo = 5 incomplete double crochet in the same stitch
st = stitch
hdc= half double crochet
(... ) = the figure inside the parenthesis equals the
number of stitches in the round
*= repeat the instruction X times

Materials and tools
1. Chenille yarn- Himalaya dolphin baby (100g-
120m/ 3.53 ounces- 131 yards), less than half a
skein. You can use any yarn substitute.
2. Thin black yarn for eyelashes.
3. Thin pink yarn for the nose.
4. Polyester fiberfill.
5. Hook number 4 mm.
6. Scissors.
7. Markers.
8. Pins.
9. Tapestry needle for sewing details.
10. Safety eyes 12 mm or 14 mm.

Insert the eyes between rows 12-13, 4-5 visible sts between
them.
If you make a bunny with upright ears then make row 16: sc
around.
If you make a long-eared bunny then do row 16 in the following
way:
16: 5 sc, 3 sc through the ear, 10 sc, 2 sc through the ear, sc
through the ear from the next row. (20)
Mark the row.
Stuff the head.

Body-Head

Fasten off. Using a tapestry needle, go through the front loops


of the last 10 stitches and pull the yarn to a close. Hide the rest
of the yarn.

Sew the upright ears


between rows 16-17.

Insert a needle with a strong thread between stitches in the bottom of the
neck (between rows 8-9) parallel to the eye, and pull it out the right lower
corner of the right eye, then, insert the needle into the left corner of the
same eye and pull it out in the bottom of the neck, where you first inserted
it leaving one stitch apart. Pull both thread tails until you have the correct
position of the eye and make 2-3 strong knots. Cut the thread and hide the
tails of the thread inside the head. Do the same with the second eye.

Embroider the nose between rows 11-12.


Embroider eyelashes.

Tail
Make the tail: join the yarn between rows 5-6, Ch 2, from the
second Ch from the hook: 2 dc in the same Ch, Slst in the base.
Cut the yarn, weave in the ends.
