1. Work Center: SAP PM work center are nothing but groups of people or
technicians or experts those who physically carry out the maintenance activity in
Plant Maintenance department on different areas like mechanical, electrical,
instrumentation etc.

• Click on Next Screen
• Enter Description: Engineering Team
• Select Person Responsible: Engineering Team
• Click on Usage and select usage as 004 (Only Maintenance task list)
• Click on Standard value key and select SAPO (No standard value)
• Click on Next Tab Default Value
• Click on Control Key and select control key YBM1(Plant Maintenance-
Internal)

• Click on Next Tab Capacities
• Click on Capacity Category and select 002 (person) and OK
• Click on Next Tab Scheduling
• Click on Capacity Responsible and select as planner A and OK
• Select Capacity base unit H and OK
• After enter Standard available capacity details
• Start time:00:00:01 ( e.g.)
• End Time:23:59:59 (e.g.)
• Length of break:03:00:00(e.g)
• Capacity Utilization :100

• Select scheduling capacity category 002(Person) and OK

2. Functional location: A functional location represents system area at which an
object can be installed. Objects that can be installed at functional locations are
called pieces of equipment in the SAP System.

4. Task List:
A) General maintenance task list: task lists that are used for general
maintenance tasks. They do not refer to a specific technical object. Using
general maintenance task lists, you can define and manage sequences of
maintenance tasks centrally and use them for work scheduling.
App: Create Task list.
