Phần 4: Follow up questions & answers

1. Câu “San Francisco rất đắt đỏ” được viết như thế nào? (expensive (adj): đắt đỏ)
2. Cách viết nào đúng: “Laura has brown eyes” hay “Laura has eyes brown”?
3. Câu “The play sounds interesting” có ý nghĩa gì?

Đáp án:

1. Đáp án: “San Francisco is very expensive”. Lưu ý: ta có cấu trúc be (am/is/was
etc.) + adjective, vậy nên cần phải có động từ to be. Nếu ta chỉ viết “San
Francisco very expensive” thì chưa chính xác.
2. Cách viết đúng là: “Laura has brown eyes”. Lưu ý: ta có cấu trúc adjective +
noun (tính từ đứng trước danh từ - không giống như trong tiếng Việt là danh từ
đứng trước tính từ).
3. Câu “The play sounds interesting” nghĩa là “Vở kịch nghe (có vẻ) thú vị đấy”.
Lưu ý: ta có cấu trúc (look/feel/smell/taste/sound + adjective).
