Frontend Forge – Project Guidelines
Objective
The goal of Frontend Forge is to create a modern, visually appealing website that
showcases a product, service, or concept. Your website should have a clean, sleek,
and minimal UI design with smooth animations for transitions, scrolling, and
interactive elements.
Project Requirements
1. Theme and Concept
Choose a product, service, or concept that excites you. Examples include:
● Product websites (gadgets, cars, technology products, etc.)
● Service websites (food delivery, cold drinks, logistics, etc.)
● Concept websites (education, sustainability, wellness, travel, etc.)
2. Design Guidelines
● Modern & Minimal UI: Keep it clean, clutter-free, and elegant.
● Color Palette: Pick a consistent, well-balanced color scheme.
● Typography: Use modern and readable fonts.
● Whitespace: Keep sections spacious for a sleek look.
3. Visual Appeal & Animations
Add smooth, creative animations to make your site interactive:
● Page Transitions → Smooth and seamless.
● Scrolling Effects → Parallax, fade-in, or scroll-triggered animations.
● Button Interactions → Hover and click effects.
● Other Interactive Elements → Carousels, modals, or image galleries.
4. Functionality
● Responsiveness: Must work on desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
● Navigation: Simple, intuitive menus (sticky header or hamburger for mobile).
● Performance: Optimize images and scripts for faster load times.
5. Creativity & Uniqueness
● Personal Touch: Showcase your creativity with unique layouts.
● Innovative Features: Try adding something extra (interactive backgrounds,
micro-animations, or creative hover effects).
6. Technical Requirements
● Frontend Only: Use HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Vanilla JS), ReactJS, Framer Motion,
GSAP, NextJs etc.
● Hosting: You can use free hosting platforms like:
○ Vercel
○ Netlify
○ Render
○ GitHub Pages, etc.
● Submission: Your project must be live & publicly accessible before
submission.
7. Submission Guidelines
● Registration Deadline: 5th September 2025
● Competition Start Date: 6th September 2025
● Submission Form: Submit via the Microsoft Form (link will be shared to
respective registered students).
● Submission Form Deadline: 13th September 2025
● Must include:
○ ✅ Live hosted URL
○ ✅ Project details (name + short description)

9. Additional Guidelines
● Original Work Only: No ready-made templates. Inspiration is fine, but design &
code must be your own.
● Assets: Use royalty-free images (Unsplash, Pexels, Pixabay) or assets you have
permission for.
● Testing: Test your site across devices and browsers before submission.

Q1: Can I use templates?
❌ No. Your design must be original. You may take inspiration but must code and design
your own version.
Q2: Can I use images from the internet?
✅ Yes, as long as they are royalty-free (Unsplash, Pexels, Pixabay) or you have usage
rights.
Q3: Can I add a backend?
❌ No. This is a frontend-only competition.
Q4: What if I face technical issues?
