Mentlance Interview Guide
Starting Off: Hey [Interviewee’s Name], how’s your day going? I’m [Your Name], and I’ll be
the one talking with you today. Honestly, think of this less like an interview and more like a chill
conversation — I just want to get to know you better
Before we jump in, I’ll quickly tell you a bit about Mentlance. It’s a non-profit project that
spreads awareness about mental health through things like events, podcasts, newsletters, and
social media.
Now, let’s get started! Feel free to take your time with the answers.
General Introductory Questions (for all roles)
● Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
● What made you interested in Mentlance specifically?
● What would you like to bring to the team? Any skills, ideas, or plans that you have in
mind?
● Since working with people really comes down to good communication and teamwork,
how do you see yourself staying in sync with the team and making sure things run
smoothly while also building a good vibe with everyone?
Role-Specific Questions (Keep it conversational!)
1. Podcast Producer
● What excites you about creating podcasts around mental health?
● Have you ever worked with a guest or team on a creative project?
