completed on the third day of the month of Adar, in the sixth year of the reign of Darius.
The children of Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the rest of the repatriates celebrated with joy the
dedication of this house of God. They offered, for the inauguration of this house of God, one hundred bulls,
two hundred rams, four hundred lambs, and as a sin offering for all Israel, twelve
bodies, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.
They also established the priests according to their categories, and the Levites according to their...
classes, for the service of God, in Jerusalem, as it is written in the book of Moses.
The deportees celebrated Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month. As all the Levites...
they had been purified, together with the priests, they were pure; and thus, they sacrificed the Passover
for all the children of captivity, for the priests their brothers and for themselves.
Word of the Lord.
Thank God!
PSALM
What joy when they said to me: Let us go to the house of the Lord!
What joy, when they said to me: Let us go to the house of the Lord!

What joy, when I heard that they said to me:

Let's go to the house of the Lord!
And now our feet are already stopped,
Jerusalem, in your gates.

– Jerusalem, a well-built city

in a harmonious set;
to there the tribes of Israel ascend,
the tribes of the Lord.

To praise, according to the law of Israel,

the name of the Lord.
The seat of justice is there
and the throne of David.

Today we celebrate Bible Day, the catechetical manual where we find in a more complete way
the written Word of God. We need to give due value to the written Word of God, which guides us
reveals many things and invites us to be prophets, announcers of the Kingdom of God. All
he who announces the truth denounces the lie.
We come together in prayer for all the families in our communities.
Let's pray for the youth so that they are not denied opportunities for education and
work. Let us finally pray for all the members of the Apostolate of Prayer so that they may continue
persevering in their mission.
Let's all stand up to begin our celebration by singing.
COMMENTARY – LITURGY OF THE WORD
As Christians, we must act in charity, just like Jesus Christ. Let us listen.
FIRST READING (Nm 11:25-29)
Reading of the Book of Numbers
In those days: The Lord descended in the cloud and spoke to Moses. He took a bit of the spirit that
Moses had it and gave it to the seventy elders. As soon as the spirit rested upon them, they put.
they prophesied, but they did not continue.
Two men, however, had stayed in the camp. One was named Eldad and the other Medad. The
the spirit rested equally upon the two, who were on the list but had not gone to the Tent, and
they prophesied in the camp.
A young man ran to inform Moses that Eldad and Medad were prophesying in the camp.
Joshua, son of Nun, aide to Moses since youth, said: 'Moses, my Lord, command
Let them be silent!' Moses replied: 'Are you jealous for me? I wish that all the people of
Lord be a prophet, and may the Lord grant you His spirit!
Word of the Lord.
Thank God!
PSALM
The law of the Lord God is perfect, joy to the heart
The law of the Lord God is perfect, joy to the heart

The law of the Lord God is perfect,

comfort for the soul!
The testimony of the Lord is faithful,
wisdom of the humble.

The fear of the Lord is pure,

unchangeable forever.
The judgments of the Lord are correct
the just ones likewise.

And your servant, instructed by them,

is dedicated to keeping them.
But who can notice your faults?
Forgive those I do not see!
And preserve your servant from pride:
do not dominate over me!
And thus pure, I shall be preserved
two of the most wicked crimes.
SECOND READING (James 5:1-6)
Reading from the Letter of Saint James
And now, rich people, weep and wail, because of the miseries that are coming upon you.
Your wealth is rotting, and your clothes are being eaten away by moths. Your gold and
your silver is rusted, and its rust will serve as a testimony against you and will devour
Your flesh, like fire! You have piled up treasures in the last days.
Behold: the wages of the workers who harvested your fields, which you have failed to pay,
is yelling,
And the cry of the workers has reached the ears of the Almighty Lord. You have lived
luxuriously on earth, devoted to the good life, feeding your hearts for the day of
murder. You condemned the righteous and killed him; he did not resist you.
Word of the Lord.
Thank God!
PRAYERS OF THE FAITHFUL

ANSWER: Hear, Lord, our prayer, our cry!

1. For all the people who have responsibility in our Church, that they may not have
no acts of intolerance, do not seek personal glory, do not preach divisions, let us pray.
2. For all Christians, that the Lord may help them to always seek unity, to value the
that unites us and not what divides, and to persevere in dialogue, let us pray.
For all the children in our communities, for all the marginalized and for all the
victims of any type of abuse and violence, so that our Lord protects and comforts them
in your sufferings, let us pray.
4. For all the proclaimers of the Word of God, that they may follow the Gospel of Jesus
Christ, may they be prophets of hope and ministers of reconciliation, let us pray.
5. Through the intercession of Saint James, let us pray for all the families in our communities so that
giving due value to the Word of God, may they become propagators of the Kingdom of love, let us pray.

Today we celebrate the Archangels Michael (protector of the chosen people), Gabriel (announcer of birth
of John the Baptist and of Jesus Christ) and Raphael (accompanied Tobias when he was blind).
Angels are divine creatures, messengers of God.
God desires us to be messengers of divine love. For this, we must walk faithfully.
on your path, in the practice of good and charity.
Tonight we join in prayer with the volunteers of the Child Pastoral, an organization that
aim above all for the well-being of the child in need in our communities.
Let's pray for all the needy mothers. Let's pray for all the children.
Let's all stand up to begin our celebration by singing.
COMMENTARY - LITURGY OF THE WORD
God shows us His love and protection through Jesus Christ. Let us listen attentively.
FIRST READING (Dn 7:9-10, 13-14)
Reading from the Prophecy of Daniel
I kept looking until thrones were set in place, and an Ancient of Days took his seat.
place. His garment was white as snow and the hair on his head, like pure wool; his throne was
flames of fire, and the wheels of the throne, like glowing fire. A river of fire was poured out there that
it was born before him; thousands upon thousands served him, and millions upon millions attended to him at the throne;
the tribunal was established and the books were opened.
I kept insisting on the night vision, and behold, among the clouds of heaven, came one like a son of
a man, approaching the Elder of many days, and was brought before him. He was given
given power, glory, and royalty, and all peoples, nations, and languages served him: his power is a
eternal power that will not be taken from you, and your kingdom, a kingdom that will not be dissolved.
Word of the Lord.
Thank God!

FIRST READING (Rev 12:7-12a)

Reading of the Book of Revelation of John
There was a battle in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the Dragon. The Dragon fought
together with his angels, but he was defeated, and his place in heaven was no longer found. And
the great Dragon was expelled, the ancient Serpent, who is called Devil and Satan, the deceiver of
whole world. He was expelled to the earth, and his angels were expelled with him. I then heard
a loud voice in heaven, proclaiming: "Now salvation, strength, and the kingdom of our
God, and the power of His Christ. For the accuser of our brethren has been cast out, he who
accused day and night before our God. They overcame the Dragon by the blood of the Lamb and
by the word of their own testimony, for they did not cling to life, even in the face of death.
Therefore, rejoice, O heaven, and all you who dwell in it.
Word of the Lord.
Thank God!
PSALM
Before your angels, I will sing to you, O Lord!
Before your angels I will sing to you, O Lord!
Lord, from my heart I give you thanks,
because you listened to the words of my lips!
Before your angels, I will sing to you
and before your temple I will prostrate myself.

I thank you for your love, your truth,

because you did much more than you promised;
on that day when I shouted, you listened to me
and you increased the vigor of my soul.

The kings of all the earth shall praise you,

when they hear, O Lord, your promise.
They will sing your paths and will say:
How great is the glory of the Lord!
