Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and professional Backend Developer to architect and build the
server-side infrastructure for the Zaucto platform. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of
solid experience developing scalable backend systems with a proven track record of
delivering high-quality solutions. You must demonstrate strong technical expertise,
professional work ethics, and the ability to handle complex business logic for our
procurement platform.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop robust, scalable backend architecture for the Zaucto platform
Build and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs for RFQ creation, vendor management,
and bidding processes
Implement real-time bidding engine for reverse auction functionality
Design and optimize database schemas for efficient data storage and retrieval
Develop secure authentication and authorization systems with role-based access control
Implement complex business logic for procurement workflows and approval processes
Ensure code quality through comprehensive testing and code reviews
Integrate with third-party services (payment gateways, email services, SMS providers)
Maintain detailed technical documentation and API specifications
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Required Technical Skills & Expertise
Core Programming Proficiency:
Expert-level proficiency in at least one: Node.js, Python (Django/FastAPI), or Java (Spring
Boot)
Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture
Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
Database Expertise:
Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL including complex queries, indexing, and
performance optimization
Experience with database design patterns and normalization
Proficiency in Redis for caching and session management
API Development Excellence:
Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade RESTful APIs
Strong understanding of API security, versioning, and best practices
Experience with real-time technologies (WebSockets/Socket.io)
Expertise in authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth 2.0)
Professional Development Practices:
Strong commitment to test-driven development (TDD)
Experience with Git workflows and collaborative development
Proven ability to write comprehensive technical documentation
Understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns
