▪ To complete the work it will take 7 days.

4. Working Method
 As the technical specification is the guideline for execution of the construction activities, the work
is to be performed in line with this document and any provision thereof on the B.O.Q.

Procedures

 Clean the bars from Cement Paste


 Tying 2.5cm thick spacer on the stirrup to keep the required concrete cover
 Painting oil on surface of the form work to prevent adherence of concrete
 Bracing the form work with eucalyptus to keep its position during placing of concrete.

Mitigation Measures

 The form work is to be braced at each 40cm interval along its dimension with Ф6 cm eucalyptus

 And if the excavated soil has larger depth and the soil couldn’t stand firm sheeting will be applied so as to
protect the workers and create safe working atmosphere.

 Levels are to be provided using Leveling instrument

 To avoid any edge damage on column during formwork dismantling, the formwork will be oiled with mould
oil before its erection.

Arrangements & coordination

 Every resource is availed at the specified site ahead of the beginning of the work.

 The site engineer Ato Abdu Mohammed the office engineer, Ato , will lead the
works and the Forman Ato Frew Addisu is assigned to follow the execution of activities closely.

5. Quality and Safety Assurance Measures


Quality Assurance Measures

 Reviewing and examining the construction drawings carefully before commencement of any
activity.
 Keeping the construction equipment in good condition and providing skilled worker.
Health and Safety Assurance Measures
Any injury to workers & third party and damage to equipment machineries will be mitigated and get
solutions.
 For machineries a mechanic is available on the site for immediate maintenance.
 Any injured person will be immediately taken to the nearest clinic for external treatment after
getting First Aid on the site.

6. General Remarks
After executing the work with this methodology, we assure the work satisfies the technical requirements and
any failure thereafter will be judged according to the Ethiopian Standard Conditions of Contracts. And, as
the time goes & technology advances, the working methodology of the time might change, and hence, the new
methodology will be provided before any further application.

CONTINUE THE STATED ACTIVITY!!!
