January 19, 2024, that the Liga ng mga Barangay – Coron Chapter, in collaboration with the
Municipal Government of Coron, together with the technical assistance of the DILG Coron
Field Office, will spearhead the conduct of BARANGAY NEWLY ELECTED OFFICIALS
(BNEO) COMPONENT 3 TRAINING PROGRAM DUBBED AS: COACHING SESSIONS ON
EFFECTIVE LEGISLATION FOR SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY MEMBERS GEARING
TOWARDS GENDER RESPONSIVENESS AND DISASTER RESILIENCY OF GRASSROOT
COMMUNITIES CUM BASIC ORIENTATION ON THE KATARUNGANG PAMBARANGAY
LAW which will held on June 18 to 19, 2024 at Citistate Asturias Hotel, Puerto Princesa
City.
The training activity is designed to develop the competencies of the Sangguniang
Barangay Members in the exercise of their powers, duties and responsibilities as policy
makers and service providers in the effective and efficient delivery of basic services. The
expected participants in the 2-day training program are as follows: Punong Barangays,
Sangguniang Barangay Members, SK Chairpersons, Indigenous People Mandatory
Representative (IPMR), Barangay Secretaries and Barangay Treasurers.
In view of the foregoing, the undersigned would like to invite your presence in the
Opening Program on abovementioned activity and to deliver a MESSAGE to the
participants. The Program will start at exactly 8:30 in the morning.
