Fabric Suggestions
It is recommended to use comfortable knit fabric that has
a good amount of stretch. Lightweight to mediumweight fabrics
will perform best such as jersey, knits or any fabric with stretch.

Construction

Step 1 - Print out the pattern piece and tape it together.

Cut out your desired fabric, make sure you have prewashed your
fabric to prevent shrinkage.

Step 2 - With right sides together, place the front and back top on
top of eachother and sew the side seams and shoulder seams with
a 1cm seam allowance and use a stretch stitch or overlocker.

Step 3 - With right sides together, take the neckband piece and
stitch down the short side with a 1cm seam allowance, making a
circular band.

Step 4 - Fold the neckband in half with wrong sides together and
press. This will create the top of the band with a folded neat edge
and the bottom of the band with the raw sides.
Step 5 - With right sides facing, attach the raw edge
of the neckband to the neckline, evenly distributing the fabric.
Place the seam of the neckband at the centre back of the top.
You will need to stretch the neckband slightly as you pin it for it to fit
properly. Sew using a 1cm seam allowance and finish the raw edge.

Step 6 - Now press the neckband upwards so the seam is facing the
inside of the garment. You will now have a clean and finished neckband.
Step 7 - Complete the exact same steps as we did for the neck
band to the armhole bands (steps 3-6).

Step 8 - Hem the top by folding the edges up by 1cm and pressing. Stitch
around the hem using a standard or double needle for a neat finish.
