A Severe cyclone

Orissa,15th August 2023,
A severe cyclone took place in
Orissa on 12th August at 6:45 pm . According to the
weather reporter, "the low pressure system over Bay of
Bengal and its neighbourhood has now developed into a
cyclonic circulation." The wind speeds was around 80-
100km/h. The cyclone landed near the coastal areas of
Orissa like Puri, Baleshwar and Paradip were affected.
Many house were washed out. The person who lived in
costal area lost their life. Heavy rainfall started with the
cyclone. It becomes flood.
As a result many houses were
destroyed. Many people lost their life. Many property were
damaged. More than 1000 peoples were rendered
homeless . Train services were disrupted .
Rescue teams started their rescue
operation. The government announced relief for affected
states . They had declared also financial sport to the
affected family.
