October 5, 2021 (1:30-5:00PM)

Good afternoon! Just a short reminder to all, please do register using the link provided in the chatbox.

We will now be starting in a few minutes. May I remind everyone to mute their microphones to hear the
speakers well and to utilize the chatbox for your concerns.

To our SUC President, Dr. Regucivilla A. Pobar represented by Dr. Bernabe Mejares, to the system official
especially to our Campus Director, Professor Virgilia Tejada, the Deans of the Different Colleges, the
heads of offices, to our resource speaker, to the Gender And Development focal persons, faculty and
students, a great afternoon to all of you and welcome to our WEBINAR ON SURVIVING COLLEGE LIFE
AMIDST THE PANDEMIC. This workshop is participated by our dear students in BISU Balilihan – most of
them are watching through our Facebook Live.

To begin, let us now acknowledge the presence of the Almighty God as we listen to our Opening Prayer
to be followed by the Singing of Hymns.

Before we officially begin, may I just take this opportunity to greet all of our teachers in profession and
those who have taught us valuable lessons in life – a happy happy teacher’s day!!! Always know that
even if you don’t hear it everyday, your efforts and love in molding the minds of your learners are
appreciated. Thank you for the gift of life for our dearest teachers!

Now, to give us her words of welcome, please give a virtual applause to our campus director, Professor
Virgilia Tejada to be represented by Ms. Ma. Kathleen Dureen Travero.

Thank you for that insightful and welcoming speech, Ms. Dureen. (add)

Let us now lend our ears as we listen to the statement of purpose to be given by our Campus GAD Focal,
Mrs. Virginia S. Ponollera.

Thank you, ma’am Pollonera for giving clarity to our activity today.
We should also not forget that in these trying times, we are encouraged to uplift one another. To hear
more of that, please help me welcome our University President, Dr. Regucivilla A. Pobar to be
represented by Dr. Bernabe Mejares for her inspirational message.

That was indeed an intellectual and moving message, Dr. Pobar and for delivering the message Dr.
Mejares! Thank you very much for those inspiring words and for gracing this

To introduce our resource speaker for this activity, may we hear from the Acting Dean of the College of
Criminal Justice, Ms. Marry Joyce P. Gudmalin.

-WEBINAR PROPER-

Thank you so much to our dear resource speaker, Sir Jeffrey Tungol, for a very meaning, fruitful,
informative and at the same time entertaining talk on how our students can cope with their college life
during these trying times through that very creative and personal acronoym: Take Me To BISU As A
Friend kaysa mag post ug bisan unsa nga meme sa facebook. Posts positivity in your social media
accounts. I think that your relevant example and practical advices have engaged the students to listen to
you. Nalingaw sad jud mi sa humour ni sir, nga matud pa niya para sa mga intellectual people ra. I am
also reminded how to survive in the harsh reality of this world. We are reminded that we cannot do
things alone, but with God we are strengthened to do all things. Once again, let us give a virtual
applause to Sir Jeffrey Tungol.

Now, the floor is already open for any questions or comments from the talk that was given by Sir
Tungog. If you have any questions to the speaker, you may just unmute your microphone or raise your
hand to be acknowledged. You can also comment in the chatbox. Those who are also in our Facebook
live, if you have any comments and questions to our speaker, please chat in the comment section so
that we can read. This is now your opportunity, so grab it.

Before we end this session, the virtual awarding of certificate will now be given.

(read certificate)

To formally end the program, let us now listen to the closing remarks to be given by Mrs. Catherene B.
Perin.
Evaluation Form will serve as attendance.

Before we end, may we request everyone to turn on their camera for the virtual photo opportunity.

Thank you everyone and have a great day ahead!
