About Us
Madiba Hope Initiative is an Indigenous Non-Governmental Organization formed in
2023, incorporated by the Uganda Registration Service Bureau on December 07,
2023 (Reg. No: 8003455314651) and registered by Ministry of Internal Affairs in
December 06, 2024 (Reg. No. MIA/NE/2024/12/6619) with operating permit for 5
years 2024 – 2029.
The Organization is envisages ‘An Empowered, Self-Reliant and Resilient
Community in the West Nile Sub region’ achieved through vocational skills
development, livelihood enhancement, health & nutrition education, environmental
conservation, and humanitarian and disaster response.
The Strategic Objectives for the next 5 years (2024 - 2029) include:
SO1: To promote youth empowerment & employment in the West Nile sub region
through provision of life skills, vocational skills and entrepreneurship training and
business mentorship.
SO2: To enhance good health seeking behavior and practices for increased
productivity and better livelihood standards.
SO3: To increase food and income security through farming as a business and agri
business development.
SO4: To enhance climate change mitigations and renewable energy technologies for
sustainable socio economic livelihood.
SO5: To strengthen the organizational governance and internal management
frameworks in order to increase institutional capacity for effective program
implementation.
SO6: To create professional, responsive and responsive human resource for
effective and efficient programme implementation.
