Task Title:
Echoes of Freedom: Tracing the Journey of the Filipino Nation after Independence

Task Overview:
You are tasked to create a multimedia presentation or creative portfolio that traces the
political, economic, cultural, and social changes in the Philippines from 1946 to the present.
Highlight the successes, struggles, and transformations the country went through in the
post-colonial period, and how these continue to affect contemporary Philippine society.

Performance Output Options (Choose One):


1. Digital Timeline Presentation:
- Use PowerPoint, Canva, or Google Slides
- Include at least 10 significant events from 1946 to present
- Add images, brief descriptions, and your own reflections

2. Creative Historical Portfolio:


- Make a scrapbook or digital portfolio
- Include photos, news clippings, original drawings, poems, and journal-style reflections
- Center on themes like democracy, nationalism, people power, martial law, and post-EDSA
society

3. Short Docu-Drama or Vlog (5–7 mins):


- Dramatize or creatively narrate post-independence struggles and movements
- Collaborate in groups of 3–5
- Use voiceovers, historical clips, or re-enactments

4. Newspaper Front Page (Historical Fiction):


- Design a newspaper dated July 5, 1946, reporting on Philippine Independence
