Instructions:

Use a dataset of your choice. Do not use the datasets used so far for exerciseing purposes!
Work in teams of 3-4 members as per the groups created in D2L

Complete all 4 tasks

No Task
1 Create an "If" statement - Use the IF formula
2 Illustrate how conditional formatting works
3 Create a Pivot table with 3 columns - one of them to show a total Sum of Quanity or $
4 Make a Chart. Select the type of your choice and add Labels
5 For each task put a few sentences to explain the context and the message behind the results
Example: What is the dataset representing and Why is the outcome important for the analysis?

Note1 Submission deadline May 28, 2025 at 10PM EST in Dropbox


*There will be up to 50% penalty for late submittion

Note2 All the members of the team receive the same mark

* You are being assessed for providing a creative, clear, concise solution with great visuals
to convey the important messages in reporting to the leadership

* You won't have the opportunity to choose your team members. They are being assigned
randomly

* Extra points may be assigned for exceptional quality of the work

Note3 When analyzing data, make sure you :


a) clearly understand and goals of the analysis and the requirements of your Internal and/or
your External customers.
b) always be on the lookout for the most efficient solution, strategy or tool that supports
the objective in the best available to you way.
c) apply the continuous improvement mentality.
d) ask your "customers" for clarification on the needs whenever necessary
