As we embark on this journey, let the words of the revered Lord Krishna guide our spirits: "Tera
Mangal… Mera Mangal… Sabka Mangal…"—a celestial mantra, echoing the universal pursuit of
prosperity and well-being for all. This timeless message encapsulates the essence of collective well-
being and prosperity. It resonates with the teachings of Lord Krishna, who, in the Gita, emphasizes
the importance of selfless action for the greater good.

In the spirit of "vishvakalyan," or universal well-being, we draw inspiration from the teachings of
Swami Vivekananda, who illuminated the path to universal well-being, proclaiming, 'In the pursuit of
true happiness, let us recognize the interconnectedness of all lives. The key to universal well-being
lies not merely in personal prosperity, but in the upliftment of every soul, as we harmonize our
aspirations with the collective welfare of humanity."

Our school Modern Vidya Niketan, as a microcosm of society, embodies these principles. Each
student, like a divine manifestation, contributes to the collective tapestry of our institution, adding
unique colors and textures. The pursuit of knowledge, guided by the eternal wisdom encapsulated in
the scriptures, forms the cornerstone of our academic journey.

As we embrace the annual function with zeal and enthusiasm, let us remember the words of
Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge: "या कुन्देन्दुतुषारहारधवला या
शुभ्रवस्त्रावृता।" ("Yā kuṇḍendu tuṣāra hāra dhavalā yā śubhra vastrāvṛtā") - symbolizing
purity and enlightenment. May this celebration be a manifestation of the divine grace that guides
our pursuit of knowledge and virtue.

Let’s embark on this grand event with a collective spirit of "Tera Mangal… Mera Mangal… Sabka
Mangal..." and "vishvakalyan." May this annual function be a testament to our commitment to
excellence, unity, and the holistic well-being of all.

Jyotirgamaya - Lighting of the Lamp by School Authorities

In the radiant tapestry of our annual function, the ceremonial act of inaugurating the event through
the sacred illumination of the lamp is an embodiment of the timeless adage "Jyotirgamaya," a phrase
deeply rooted in the wisdom of our ancient scriptures. The revered Swami Vivekananda once said,
"Arise, awake, and stop not until the goal is reached.". As we invoke the divine light, encapsulated in
the immortal words of the Rigveda: "Asato ma sadgamaya, Tamaso ma jyotirgamaya.",let us
transcend darkness and ignorance as our esteemed school authorities, _________________ ,
illuminate the lamp of enlightenment—Jyotirgamaya—an auspicious act symbolizing the triumph of
knowledge over obscurity.

Krishna Vandna
Reflecting on the teachings of Lord Krishna, we find inspiration in the exhortation, "Karmanye
vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana; Ma Karmaphalaheturbhurma Te Sangostvakarmani." This
immortal counsel emphasizes the importance of dedicated action without attachment to the fruits
thereof, reminding us that our efforts and intentions shape our destiny, just as Krishna steered the
chariot of Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. We now invite the students of choir to enlighten
us with prayers offered to Lord Krishna

Annual Report - "Lakshya Sidhi"

The torchbearers of our academic ethos, the Head Boy and Head Girl, embody leadership and
resilience. In the timeless saying of Lord Krishna, "You have a right to perform your prescribed duties,
but you are not entitled to the fruits of your actions." With this profound wisdom, we invite them to
the podium to present the Annual Report, aptly titled "Lakshya Sidhi. May their report exemplify the
school's journey towards its goals, reverberating with the spirit of selfless dedication.

School Anthem
With hearts brimming with pride, we invite our talented students to present the school anthem. As
the melody resounds, let it echo the unity and spirit that defines Modern Vidya Niketan. Upon the
conclusion of this melodic ode, let the acclamation for our Annual Function be proclaimed—a
collective celebration of achievements and aspirations.

Durdrishti – Principal’s Vision

It is now our honor to invite the principal, the visionary leader of our educational odyssey, Ms. Agalya
Venkatesh to grace the stage. In the words of Swami Vivekananda, "Arise, awake, and stop not until
the goal is reached." With utmost respect, we request our principal ma’am to share her insights and
"durdrishti" – the farsightedness that propels our institution toward greater heights.

Vishwakalyan – Panoramic Presentation

As we proceed, anticipate a visual spectacle that transcends boundaries—a panoramic presentation

titled "Vishvakalyan." In the unforgettable words of Rabindranath Tagore, "The highest education is
that which does not merely give us information but makes our life in harmony with all existence."
Join us in this visual voyage, celebrating the interconnectedness of all lives and the pursuit of
universal welfare.
