ASSIGNMENT : VERTUAL MACHINE INSTALLATION

Step1 : download VMbox and run it

Step2 : click “new” select linux and ubantu in type and versions

Step3 alocate memory size and hard disk and hard disk type
Step 4: allocate file location and size of the file
Step 5: run the following VM u have created

Step 6: select a start up disk or you can manually create one now by add
ur iso image to the optical disk selector
Step 7: after that click next with ubantu iso image

Step 8: enter with install ubantu option and continue with the installation
process.
Step 9: select keyboard layout
Step10 :next it display the extra functionality and software select if
applicable

Step 11: select installation type you can partition your drive in the
something else option or proceed with erase and install
Step 12: select the region and fill in details to make and account for the
system
Step13 : click continue and after that soon enough it will the installation
and ubantu will start

Step 14 after installation you will need to restart once


Step 15 after reboot you will be displayed with a lock screen and
installation of ubantu is complete
