The graph illustrates the total figure of the literacy rate of Bangladesh over the years between 1995 and 2010.
Here the vertical axis expresses percentage while the horizontal axis expresses the time span.
Overall, Bangladesh experienced an upward trend in case of the literacy rate of Bangladesh. In the graph,
there is a little fluctuations in the numbers. Although the figure of literacy initially had a lower rate, it reached
the peak that is more than 56 percent at the end of the period. In the graph, it is evident that the highest rate of
literacy was in 2010 while the lowest was in 1995.
In 1995, the literacy rate was 38.1%. It then rose significantly to 56% in 2000, indicating major improvement.
However, in the following year, 2001, the rate dropped to 47.9%, and again decreased to 43.1% in 2003. Despite
these setbacks, the literacy rate sharply increased in 2010, reaching 56.8%, the highest among all the years shown.
This final rise suggests renewed educational efforts and progress in promoting literacy across the country.
2. The graph below shows the number of people living below poverty line from 1995-2010. Describe

The graph illustrates the total figure of the number of people living below the poverty line over the years between
1995 and 2010. Here the vertical axis expresses percentage while the horizontal axis expresses the time span.
Overall, Bangladesh experienced a downward trend in case of the number of people living below poverty
line. In the graph, there is a little fluctuations in the numbers. Although the number of people living below the
poverty line initially had a higher rate, it reached the bottom that is more than 28 percent at the end of the period.
In the graph, it is evident that the highest number of people living below the poverty line was in 1995 while the
lowest was in 2010.
In 1995, 30% of the population was living below the poverty line. This figure rose significantly to 45% by 2003,
marking the highest level of poverty during the given period. However, in 2007, the rate dropped back to 30%,
returning to the 1995 level. By 2010, the percentage further declined to 28%, the lowest rate in the graph. This
downward trend after 2003 indicates a gradual improvement in poverty reduction efforts in Bangladesh.

six different career options: farming, business, government job, research work, banking, and teaching, with
respective percentages reflecting popularity. Here the vertical axis expresses percentage while the horizontal axis

Overall, government jobs appear to be the most preferred profession among educated individuals, followed by
banking and teaching. On the other hand, research work and farming are the least chosen fields.
According to the graph, 60% of educated people opt for government jobs, making it the top choice. Banking is
the second most popular, chosen by 40%, while 30% go for teaching. Business attracts 20% of the educated
population. Farming is chosen by only 10%, and research work is the least preferred, with just 5% involvement.
This distribution shows that most educated individuals lean toward secure and stable careers, while fewer are
interested in research and agriculture-related professions.
