PROJECT(KCA-45): Guidelines
Students are required to submit a project report. on real time problems, which are
society. It also recommends to students to choose current tools & technologies to do theirbeneficial for
project. The
report shll be prepared under the supervision of a faculty mentor.
The project will carry 700 marks and will comprise of both internal as well as
external evaluation.
External evaluation and internal evaluation will carry 500 and 200 marks
respectively. The internal
evaluation will be based on review/monitoring of progress, presentation and final
project. External evaluation will comprise of marks based on demonstration and demonstration
of their
viva-voce of project,
evaluated by an external examiner.
The report prepared by the student will know as Project Report'. The average size of
report
ordinarily will be of 200 pages in standard Times, New Roman, font-size (12) in double
neatly typed (one sided only) hard bound copies of the report will be submitted to the spacing. Two
will typed on A4 size paper. The report will have a certificate, signed by the
Institute. The report

The faculty concerned will maintain a log of al his/her students to assess the quality work at each
stage and record date of submission/completion to evaluate the work at variance. This will ensure
transparency and fairness in the assessment/evaluation of the project.
The student shall prepare the Project Report as per the prescribed format as given in the Project
Manual which is attached as Appx 'A' to this guidelines.
Demonstration of the project will conducted during week specified for the purpose.
Astudent will make demonstration in the presence of faculties and students of the
department/institute. A committee of faculty members will detail to assess the project and list out the
objections & observations to improve upon work.
The demonstration of the project will be for 8minutes duration. It will also have 2 minutes question
answer & suggestion/ recommendation session.
The report will be submitted to the respective mentor within a week of the presentation after
removal/'rectification of obhjection&observation made during the presentation.
