Scenario:

The government of Vietnam has specifically called on SMEs to contribute to


"digital economy, green economy, circular economy, knowledge economy,
and climate change response"(Vietnam+, 2025). This semester, the Green
Procurement Disclosure is our main topic. This practice can help large and
small businesses integrate into global supply chains.

Word Limit:
No more than 1200 (± 10%) words (including text, table, and figure but
excluding references). Provide a computer-generated word count on the title
page.

Task1: Write a Reflective review up to 400 words on the


importance of Green or sustainable Reporting.

1. What are the main principles discussed in the Video and reflect your
view on the case examples highlighted?
2. Align and reflect on how Video is linked with one of the RMIT
OMGT2197 Procurement Management and Global Sourcing course
sub-topic (weekly topic) and reflect if the learning or contents of the
sub-topic (exercises, group discussions etc) brought your
understanding on the key area (closely relevant or highlighted some
aspects). * For this check the Week1- Week11 (contents, exercises
you did in the classes).

Task 2: SPDI Disclosure Framework Application

The Sustainable Procurement Disclosure Index (SPDI) is a comprehensive


framework developed by Lau et al. (2023)Links to an external site. to assess
and evaluate the transparency of corporate sustainable procurement
practices. It provides a standardized methodology for measuring how openly
companies report their ethical sourcing and supplier selection activities. The
SPDI evaluates companies across four key domains with a total of 33
indicators.
1. Apply SPDI Framework and Evaluate One (1) company
using ONLY One (1) Key Domain and 3 indicators, as assigned in
the attached in the file you. For each indicator you can find their
description or search keywords in the Appendix 1.

Task 3: SPDI Reflection

1. Write reflection note of 300-400 words using the disclosure result


for your domain and suggest how the Anlaysed company( e.g
Unilever), you analysed, can improve the disclosure rating to reach
to excellence level.
2. In 200 words, reflect on the lesson learned from the SPDI domain
and its indicators' implications to your chosen A1 Micro Company,
and relevance to you as a logistics student.
