1. Formal Email – Requesting Course Information
Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to request more information about the English Communication Course that I
saw advertised on your official website. I am currently a university student and very
interested in developing my English skills, especially in speaking and writing. Before I
register, I would appreciate it if you could provide more details about the course structure
and requirements.

Firstly, I would like to know the exact schedule of the course. The website mentions that the
classes will take place during weekdays, but it does not specify the days or times. I would
like to make sure I can fit the classes into my school timetable.

Secondly, I would like to ask about the tuition fees. Are there any discounts for early
registration or for students? Also, I want to know what payment methods are accepted.

Lastly, could you please confirm whether the course is taught online or in-person? If it is in-
person, I would appreciate information about the location and facilities.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best regards,
Nguyen Thi Yen Vy

2. Informal Email – Sharing a Trip Experience

Subject: My Amazing Trip to Da Lat!

Hi Linh,

How are you doing? I hope everything is going well. I just came back from an incredible trip
to Da Lat with my family and I really wanted to tell you all about it!

We went there last weekend and stayed for three days. The weather was cool and fresh,
which was a nice break from the hot weather in our city. We visited a beautiful flower
garden, explored a strawberry farm, and even went on a boat ride at Tuyen Lam Lake. It was
so peaceful and relaxing.
The food was also amazing! We had hotpot, grilled corn, and some really delicious street
food at the night market. I bought a few cute souvenirs and even picked up something small
for you too.

I really wish you had been there. I’m sure you would have loved it. Let’s plan a trip together
sometime soon. I miss hanging out with you!

Write back when you have time.

Take care,
Vy 😊
