SCENE 1: A New Start
QUÂN (narrating):
At the beginning of 11th grade, a new student named Hân moved to class 11A.
LỢI:
Good morning, class. Today we have a new student who will study with us for the next two
years. Please welcome, Hân.
(Class murmurs. Some students glance at each other.)
LỢI:
Hân, would you like to introduce yourself?
HÂN:
(quietly) My… name… is Hân.
LỢI:
Great. Let’s be kind and help Hân feel welcome. Your seat is here.
QUÂN (narrating):
Hân didn’t talk to anyone. She always walked alone. So classmates started ignoring her.
SCENE 2: Misunderstanding and Rumors
(Break time. Students chat and laugh. Hân stays silent at her desk.)
HỒNG:
Hey, do you know how to solve this?
(Hân doesn’t respond.)
HỒNG:
(whispering to others) She’s so arrogant.
OANH (narrating):
Rumors started. Students said Hân was proud. But no one knew her past.
(A few students knock Hân’s books down “by accident.”)
QUÂN (narrating):
At her old school, Hân was bullied for her looks. It hurt deeply. She became afraid… and
stopped trusting people.
[BELL RINGS]
Bully 1: Hey A, clean the board for me, and also do my homework, okay? Be quick!
Bully 2 (laughing): Don’t you see how fat A is? How can A be quick? (They all laugh and
agree)
Quyên: (glares at A) Hurry up, or I’ll throw your books again!
A: (keeps quiet and follows their orders, just then the teacher enters)
LỢI: Why is the board still dirty? Who is on duty today?
(The bullies all point to A, others stay silent)
LỢI (sighs): Alright, clean it now. Next time, do it faster.
A: (quietly says yes, cleans the board, then returns to the seat)
SCENE 3: The Worst Moment
(In a quiet corner, Hân reads a book.)
LY walks over and suddenly pours water on her head.)
LY:
Feeling cool now? You’re always so quiet—have a little shower!
LÂM:
(laughing) You look like a wet mop!
(They record a video. Hân stays still. Tears mix with the water.)
QUÂN (narrating):
They laughed and walked away… leaving Hân alone. Soaking, silent, invisible.
(B walks to the parking lot and sees Hân searching for her bike.)
B:
Hey… you haven’t gone home yet?
HÂN:
(small smile) I’m looking for my bicycle.
B:
I saw what they did. It was horrible.
(softly) I understand how you feel. I used to be bullied too—for how I looked.
HÂN:
You? But… you’re so confident now.
B:
Because I chose to speak up. I told my parents, my teacher. That helped me heal.
(holds Hân’s hand) You’re not alone anymore. I’m here. And I’ll stay.
A: I’ve been always curious about what happened to you. Let me know.
QUÂN: Vy’s remembered everything she had been through before.
CLASS: (the classroom was very noisy, with different kinds of activities)
(B is sitting in class, doing homework)
Tuyền: Hey, why do you always wear those old glasses and do homework like a robot? If you
like studying so much, then do my homework too!
(B stays quiet, keeps writing)
Vinh: Hey, didn’t you hear my friend? You want trouble?
B: If you want, give me your notebook. I’ll do it.
Bully 2: That’s better. Good to know you listen.
(Bully 1 gives notebook to B arrogantly. The bell rings for class.)
[THE BELL RINGS]
LỢI: Have you all done your homework? I will now check each desk.
(When the teacher got to B’s desk, she saw an empty notebook and was surprised.)
LỢI: Oh, B, why didn’t you do your homework today? Were you sick?
B: No, teacher. This notebook belongs to TUYỀN. That student made me copy my homework
for them. My real notebook is on their desk.
LỢI: [TUYỀN], give me your notebook. I know B’s handwriting well.
( Tuyền, scared, stood up and confessed everything.)
Bully 1: I’m sorry, teacher. I took B’s notebook and made B do my homework. I apologize!
LỢI: Alright. If this happened once, it could happen again. I will call your parents later. Hurry
up, apologize A and take your notebook back.
(Tuyền go to Vy’s desk)
Tuyền: I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have made you do my homework. I promise not to do it again.
Please forgive me, or my parents will be so angry!
B: Fine. I will only forgive you if you really stop next time.
(TUYỀN go back to her seat with regret.)
LỢI: Okayy, let’s continue our lesson today.
CHUYỂN CẢNH BẢNG IN THE PRESENT
SCENE 5: The Anonymous Letter
LỢI:
Today, I want each of you to write a letter to yourself. Tell us how you feel, what you’re going
through. You don’t have to write your name.
(Soft music. Everyone writes quietly. Lights fade.)
SCENE 6: One Week Later
(Teacher holds a letter in her hand.)
LỢI:
I’ve read all of your letters, but one of them touched me deeply.
Let me read it out loud.
DUNG (reading the letter):
“I used to be happy and full of energy. But after some family issues, I became quiet. People
thought I was arrogant. I was bullied at my old school, and again in this new one. I just wanted
someone to understand…”
B:
Teacher, I know someone who went through that. Maybe we can give them a chance to speak up,
if they feel ready.
SCENE 7: A’s Voice
(Last school meeting of grade 11)
LỢI:
If anyone wants to share something with the class, this is the right moment.
HÂN:
(stands up, nervously)
When I moved here, I hoped to forget the pain. But it followed me.
I was hurt, again… until one person helped me—B.
Now I know… I’m not alone. And I’m thankful for the friends I’ve found.
DUY:
(teary) We didn’t understand you. We’re so sorry, Hân.
A: I feel sad that I didn’t speak up earlier. If I had, maybe things wouldn’t have gone this far.
LỢI: You are very brave to speak about this. I hope that anyone who is being bullied will be
brave like you and speak out. It will help you feel better inside.
(Classmates gather around Hân, smiling, shaking hands, offering apologies.)
Every student in the class gathered around Han’s table and tried to make friend, talk,
make fun with her. The last schoolday ended with happiness and satisfaction.
CLOSING MESSAGE:
QUÂN (narrating):
In school, everyone has their own story. A joke to you might be a scar to someone else.
OANH:
Let’s make school truly our second home—where no one feels invisible, and everyone belongs.
📝 Message:
“Bullying doesn’t make us strong. Kindness does.”
