To be admitted to the consecutive Master's program in Automotive Systems, the following
entry requirements must be met at the time of application:
• a first professionally qualifying university degree in electrical engineering, computer
engineering, automotive engineering/transportation or a related subject.Study
programs in the above-mentioned disciplines and related study programs must contain at
least the following components:
O at least 20 LP1from the field of mathematical and physical fundamentals, at least 6
O credits in computer science,
O at least 48 credits in one of the following areas of specialization:
either focus on electrical engineering/computer engineering from the following
modules with a scope of at least
18 credits Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering
6 LP Microprocessor Technology/Computer Organization 6
LP Signals and Systems
6 LP Control Engineering
6 LP Measurement Technology
6 LP Semiconductor Components/Circuit Technology or Analog Electronics 6
LP Software Engineering of Embedded Systems/Software Technology
or focus on automotive engineering/transportation from the following modules
with a scope of at least
24 credits Fundamentals of Automotive Engineering
6 LP Technical Mechanics 6
LP Construction
6 LP Fluid Mechanics

6 credits in the fundamentals of electrical engineering
• Another entry requirement is proof of English language skills at level B2 according to the
